The obvious question is: WHY are people who broke American law to get here getting welfare in the first place. Aduh.

The reason they get welfare is because the vast majority of illegal immigrants come here legally and then overstay because of red tape, expenses, and other difficulties with becoming a citizen.
You can't cut the welfare because innocent kids will suffer, but feel free to argue for punishing children.
The wall won't stop this because they came here legally.

Why doesn't the US government just ship them up to Canada instead since they love giving out freebies along with having universal healthcare. It's utopian paradise up there so why go to the US where healthcare isn't a top priority? And college isn't cheap? Perplexes me why they choose the US instead of better alternatives out there.
