Can you be against Israel without being antisemitic?

That's a rhetorical question. Let's prove it. Let's take the whole Zionism political angle out of the question and make it simple. Is it antisemitic to be against circumcision? Yes! Duh. Opposing one of their core religious values is the very definition of antisemitism. The Jews tell you exactly this every time there is any effort to have circumcision banned. Conversely, there is no way to be against circumcision without also being against the Jews. We have to face this. We have to stand up and be the biggest Nazis since Hitler, or we have to submit to the violent sexual abuse of our own children.

What makes you think you can somehow be against "The Jewish State" without being against the Jewish people? Why would you even want to be? Who do you think is responsible for this Jewish state if not the Jewish people? You know it's true. You also know that being against the Jews is the quickest way to lose all social status. That's why you pretend there's a difference. Sorry. You can't have it both ways. The reason America is fighting all these wars because you're too afraid to say you're against them.

It's about controlling the narrative and shutting down any descent. Any critic of Israel's policy is deemed anti-Semitic or self-hating Jew (if they're Jewish) to shut them up. It's propaganda aka: Hasbara which was started in 1984 after global condemnation for Israel's bombings of Lebanon.

"The Israel Project's 2009 Global Language Dictionary" by pollster Franck Luntz is a primer on how to basically manipulate mainly Americans through the mass media:

"Much of Dr Luntz's advice is about the tone and presentation of the Israeli case. He says it is absolutely crucial to exude empathy for Palestinians: "Persuadables [sic] won't care how much you know until they know how much you care. Show Empathy for BOTH sides!" This may explain why a number of Israeli spokesman are almost lachrymose about the plight of Palestinians being pounded by Israeli bombs and shells."

In answer to your question, yes. Certainly re: policy.

Why be against Israel though? I understand not wanting Israel to lobby our government but outside of that Israel isn't worse than the US. They've aligned themselves with the Saudis against Iran just as we have done. They engage in regime change just as we do. To focus so much of your anger towards them doesn't make sense.
