Meghan McCain claps back at T-rump: "No one will ever love you the way they loved my father"

Republican Meghan McCain, currently cohost on 'The View', clapped back at T-rump this weekend via Twitter as T-rump once again attacked the revered Republican senator from Arizona, who passed away in August.

On Saturday, T-rump tweetd, "Spreading the fake and totally discredited Dossier 'is unfortunately a very dark stain against John McCain.'" Trump was actually quoting Ken Starr (the independent counsel who investigated then-President Bill Clinton for the WhiteWater investigation and came up with nothing).

What Starr was referring to was the infamous Steele Dossier which alleged a widespread conspiracy of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin - something T-rump denies. The dossier was given to BuzzFeed and published in it's entirety in late 2016, something McCain was blamed for doing. McCain had always denied he forwarded the dossier to BuzzFeed, yet did admit he provided a copy to the FBI.

However, Starr also said that McCain was "a great man" and "an American hero" during the same interview on FOX News this past Saturday.

Yet T-rump continued his attack on the late senator, adding "He had far worse 'stains' than this, including thumbs down on repeal and replace after years of campaigning to repeal and replace!"

Daughter Meghan McCain, whose been a staunch critic of T-rump and his administration as well as the 'T-rump Republicans', clapped back at T-rump via Twitter.

"No one will ever love you the way they loved my father," McCain tweeted Saturday. "I wish I had been given more Saturday's with him. Maybe spend yours with your family instead of on twitter obsessing over mine?"

In response, T-rump made a similar attack on Senator McCain on Sunday morning.

It must really suck to be Meghan McCain right now. She can't get anyone on The View to cry with her that Antisemitism is running wild in the democratic party. She can't get anyone on The View to defend legacy admissions. And now she can't even get the republican president to respect her dead father.

She makes it difficult to take her side when all she does is talk about her family's accomplishments as if they 1) were all that great to begin with and 2) had something to do with her. MeAgain McCain. Thats her real name.

Reminds me of a comment I saw the other day on Youtube:

"I am the daughter of the great John McCain who sacrificed himself repeatedly for this country!"

"Ok ma'am but this is a Wendy's drive-thru."

reply

LOL!

I'm ambivalent towards Meghan McCain. I certainly think she has quite a bit to offer on 'The View' and in politics in general; but she doesn't know how to share it, as she keeps reverting back to her identity crisis.

reply

You're ambivalent toward bombing Iran???

Why do liberals cry for dead warmongers?

reply

I don’t think you read the post correctly. Another illiterate, I guess.

reply

Lol

reply

I don't know any Republican voters who liked John McCain.

Democrat (politicians) called him a racist when he was running for president but now they act as if none of that ever happened. All of a sudden they like him (because he was against President Trump) and kiss his butt any chance they get trying to fool the easily fooled. 🙄

reply

Democrats have not changed their views on McCain at all. They have always disagreed with most of his politics (especially during his presidential run in 08) but always respected him as a Senator, a gentleman and a war hero.

That respect for him as a gentleman and Senator grew intensely when he shut down one of his supporters who claimed she didn't trust Obama "because he wasn't born in this country" - a conspiracy she adhered to from watching too much FOX TV. He pulled the microphone away from her quickly, and answered 'That's not true...he's a fine American'.

Republicans turned their backs on him when the T-rump regime took over, and civility became a lost art in the Republican party. That's on them.

reply

Nah, that's not how I remember how he was treated back then.

Yeah, I remember that too. It's a shame he lied to that lady to kiss Obama's & Democrats butts.

Lost art. Give me a break.
I do remember his big thumbs down though. 🤥

reply

Nah, that's not how I remember how he was treated back then.

And that's a major problem with T-rump supporters and republicans. They don't remember history accurately, and try to re-write it constantly.

For example, so many Republicans and T-rump supporters have forgotten T-rump said dozens of times "Mexico will pay for the wall!" and now think Americans are responsible.

Life doesn't work that way - history can't be rewritten.

You live in a fantasy world, doggie.

reply

You have a unique concept of reality, Normie.

reply

You're still a racist birther troll, yours is the fantasy world. Racist.

reply

Original 👏👏👏

Did you think that up all by yourself, Frogarama?🙄

reply

"You live in a fantasy world, doggie. "

215 times he said Mexico would pay for the wall
https://factba.se/search#Mexico%2Bpay%2Bfor%2Bwall

"...When I say Mexico is going to pay for the wall, that's what I said: Mexico is going to pay. I didn't say they're going to write me a check for $20 billion or $10 billion. No one is going to write a check. I said they're going to pay for the wall. And if Congress approves this incredible trade bill that we made with Mexico -- and Canada, by the way -- but with Mexico, in this case -- they're paying for the wall many, many times over...."

reply

Do you believe that Trump's inauguration was the most well-attended ever? That was the first lie he said as president, I believe. Then it kept on and on, until now we are in this swamp he's created. Worse than the swamp he claimed he was going to drain, another lie he told early on. The guy makes me sick.

reply

Well he didn't win the 2008 primaries from democratic voters. Thats for sure. He beat all the other republicans like Romney, Huckabee and Giuliani by winning more republican votes. Then in 2012 it was Romney's turn against an even bigger field so its not like McCain's 2008 victory was against an unwanted candidate.

Republicans didn't hate him for voting against the president. Trumpers did. There is a difference. Trumpers are only about 50% of the republican base. Democrats did respect McCain showing his old maverick self which he hadn't shown since 2000. But from 2001 to 2017 he was a complete warhawk which a majority of democrats did not agree with and a majority of republicans thought was patriotism.

reply

Wrong. It was the Left who cried for him when he died.

reply

Wrong. Pretty much everyone of all political walks of life was upset when he died except the alt-right Trumpanzees because they were still miffed that McCain's last action was to bend Trump over his knee.

reply

I was a Republican when he ran for President and was 100% behind him until Palin was forced on us as a potential VP

reply

They respect John McCain because of his stance on healthcare. He saved many of his po' white marginalized constituents that otherwise would have died without care that they needed. They don't like him because he "said things about Trump." It's really sad that all Trump fans care about is protecting Trump from people disliking him. Nobody even understands McCain was thinking about other people other than himself, even after he said he was thinking about his constituents.

reply

I never loved John McCain, and I think Meghan is a loon. But, John McCain was one of a few honorable Repubicans with integrity that would not sell out. Sadly he would not leave his pathetic far-right Republicans ideas so all the grief he took was not for any good purpose.

I don't agree with Trump that it is right or cool to say McCain was not a hero, though I don't think he was for participating in the Viet Nam war. That was a miserable huge stain on American history, the deaths of over two million vast majority innocent Vietnamese trying to go about their lives and run their own country.

Flying overhead of all those people and bombing the shit out of them in order to try to make their land unproductive so the guerillas could not survive and hide? Anyone associated with pushing that war in the command structure is a war criminal and deserved to at the very least be singled out and outed for what they did.

But McCain was a hero to the people he served with, and again it goes to his integrity and honor ... even though you cannot be honorable in service to pure evil. Ultimately, McCain's life was meaningless because he never faced this and talked about it publicly. Maybe there will be writings or interviews released now that he is gone.

reply

The left loves McCain now, but during his presidential election they all called him a racist.

reply

We've already covered that. Try to keep up.

The right hates McCain now, but during his presidential election he was the second coming of the Messiah.

reply

How do you not understand that you are ceding the anti-war mantle to the alt-right every time you praise the guy who spearheaded every Middle East war? Stop making up these lies about how you disagree with his policies but liked him as a person. You loved John McCain and you loved him because he was pro-war. That's the only thing he stood for.

reply

First, how immature are you to try to tell me what to do online.
Please grow the fuck up.

Second, did you bother to read and comprehend what I wrote.
No, you didn't, so you have no right anyway to respond to it.

If you want to impress people with your progressivism, then be a

you look dufus.

reply

Most Americans whether they're Democrat or Republican feel neutral towards politicians who sanction war, because they grew up with America constantly engaged in wars. They tend not to blame individual politicians like mayors or congressmen. They definitely don't blame soldiers who just go wherever they're sent. They accept it as just a part of the image of the US trying to protect democracy, whether you feel that's right or wrong that's how most people grew up. Just because someone is a Democrat doesn't mean they're "liberal" or even a progressive.

reply

If tits were brains Meghan would be a genius. As it is, not so much.

reply

wowza she does have very nice bobs

reply

While McCain was dropping napalm bombs on villages lighting living kiddos on fire, Trump dodged the draft so he could stay home and sleep with the soldiers girlfriends. Not the biggest fan of Trump but i got much more love for that bozo than the war criminal McCain
