As a Liberal I must admit that Trump has been great

Obama was too progressive and Communist for my tastes, but Trump has really surprised me so far and I might actually vote for him in the next election. Itโ€™s good to have Republicans who look out for us Liberals. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

reply

Wow, finally a liberal I like :)

And it's not exactly because you like the President. It's because you're smart enough to recognize what's going on in the Democrat party, and how they have gone wayyyyy too far left these days.

They used to be the party who stood for the working people, who believe in individualism and fighting for worker's rights and being heard. Now it's different. Some people have even said that JFK would have been seen as too conservative by modern Democrats' taste.

reply

Is someone going to tell him?

Chum, you aren't a liberal.

reply

Iโ€™m for gun control, against the death penalty, voted for Obama twice, and agnostic.

Does that sound like a conservative to you?

reply

If youโ€™re for gun control and against the death penalty, which Trump wants to extend to drug dealers, how can you be for Trump?

And so what if you don't believe in God? What's that got to do with whether you're a liberal or not?

I'm an agnostic too but that means shit. Some of the most staunch left-wingers I know are religious. Some of the biggest reactionaries I know are atheist.

reply

because Iโ€™m not a 12 year old who expects someone else to agree with 100% of my opinions...thatโ€™s how I can be for Trump. You sound like you suffer from some sort of delusional tribalism. Obviously not all left leaning people are atheists, but the vast majority of right leaning folks are religious.

reply

Trump is a complete anathema to everything anyone with any remotely liberal beliefs holds dear.

He is anti-press, anti-abortion, anti-immigration, anti-LGBTQ rights, against tackling climate change, and gives implicit support to white supremacists. Even from a fiscally liberal perspective, shared by many traditional conservatives, he advocates trade barriers and tariffs. By any definition or extrapolation of the word 'liberal' he utterly fails.

And no, I am not a tribalist. In fact I have a history of pissing off fellow liberals by being openly and sternly critical of the DNC and various Democratic Party candidates. But I'd have to be a fool to think any were remotely worse than Trump.

reply

Heโ€™s anti fake news, not anti media. Heโ€™s also extremely pro gay for being a Republican, more so than Hilary Clinton for sure. He gives zero support to white supremacists, you seem to be brainwashed by fake news.

reply

"You also had some very fine people on both sides"

Oh, was that 'fake news'? Because I do recall seeing him actually say those words on camera.

And real fake news is the shit the Kremlin was foisting on people via Facebook in order to badmouth anyone who opposed Trump and Brexit.

reply

Fake News is mostly on the left, they go out of their way to push the agenda forward but Fox News is no saint.

reply

I'm not a fan of a lot of the reporting on US mainstream media (too much of it is opinion based rather than focused on just giving us factual news), but to its credit, most networks do a fact-check and apologise when they make mistakes, something Fox News never does.

reply

There are good people on both sides.

reply

BloodLake1987
The wordy-rhetoric you are hearing from certain others is because Trump wants the toxic immigrants to stay away and not violate the once-great culture of the U.S. It's that simple. Enough damage gas been done, the key is preventative measures so that the future holds greater promise.

And , though many PC folks wont' admit, they abhor the LGBTQ (XZY...) label, when homosexuals have nothing to do with mentally-ill transsexuals and the rest. We have become a wimpy society where only the brave will speak out against this nonsense. And the same crusading-people that are fixated on LGBTQ-rights (which they already have) couldn't care less about other human beings in typical hypocritical manner.

In their minds, everything that is more than 50 yrs old, must be "wrong" and represents bigotry (read: crybabies)

The other aspect is the robotic and mechanical- mindset (and I hate to accept it) of the masses: the "liberal vs.non-liberal" belief that every thought and opinion revolves around a political party. Unless, I'm the only one who thinks (and judges) about things on an individual-basis

reply

You say Obama was too progressive and communist yet he's the one who made Bush's tax cuts permanent. If Obama did nothing then we would've gone back to the Clinton rates automatically.

If anything Obama should've been too "conservative" for your liberal tastes. But as discussed by the others you are no liberal. Terrible attempt at trolling.

But there's one thing Trump can do for liberals that Hillary could never do. Destroy the GOP from the inside and drag it down in flames.

reply

His daddy was a proud communist, Obama divided the country along racial lines, he spent more money than any president in the history of the United States, he went after religious institutions, spied on Americans, and tried to force his health care agenda on the populous....this is Play for Play out of the communist manifesto. Hilary Clinton is almost a centrist for crying out loud, she was against gay marriage up until she ran for office and was all for building a wall.

reply

His daddy didn't raise him. His grandparents from his mother's side did. He didn't speak much about race and the black community constantly reminded him that he ignored them. You alt-righties just didn't like it that a half black man was your president. He and W. Bush both spent money to get us out of the recession and lower unemployment as much as possible. He continued Bush's patriot act just as Trump is doing right now. He passed his "health care agenda" through congress like he campaigned he would do. Hillary Clinton and Obama were both against gay marriage. He just flipped on it two years before she did. Hillary Clinton wanted a fence but that was before Obama began deporting illegals by the masses pushing her to move away from the fence idea.

Keep reaching fool. I can counter your bs all day while you continue admitting you are definitely not a liberal.

reply

He tried to lower black unemployment? Haha, yeah he failed miserably then.

It took Trump all of 9 months to get blacks working again.

reply

As I wrote above nothing Obama did focused on black communities. Nothing Trump did focused on black communities either so its a wash. Obama did focus on lowering unemployment across the board though which is partly due to his bailout and the Bush bailout.

You know damn well Trump's tax cuts didn't target the black community. There's literally no legislation you can attribute to Trump that got "blacks working again." Its all in Trump's head. But whatever he preaches you parrot.

Fool.

reply

His doubling the amount of food stamps given out wasnโ€™t aimed at the black community? Hmmm, what a weird coincidence lol.

reply

It took Trump all of 9 months to get blacks working again.

A new challenger appears!

Since you're interested in unemployment numbers, maybe you will be the first to acknowledge and respond to my topic on Trump's unemployment claims, which coincidentally was posted about 9 months ago, the same number of months you mentioned.

The challenge:
Was Trump lying about unemployment for 4 years or is he lying about unemployment as President? Be sure to check out the HILARIOUS yet troublesome FLIP FLOP from December 2016 to January 2017:

reply

She wonโ€™t answer this or any other questions asked of her. Thatโ€™s not what trolls do. They just do โ€œ hit and runโ€ posts.

reply

Well that's what I bet my $100 on, so I certainly hope this one is another runner.

Come on BloodLake, Froggy needs a new pair of shoes!

reply

Looks like you won those new pair of shoes! LOL

reply

Wow, Obama sounds horrible in your posts. Tell us again why you voted for him twice?

Bwahahahahaha!

reply

Tell us who all of your sock accounts are and I will gladly answer the question.

reply

No sock accounts here.

Now tell us again why you voted for Onsma twice? And try to make it sound believable.

reply

All you have to do is confirm the obvious 3-4 socks that you use on a daily basis and I will go into great detail why I voted for Obama twice.

reply

Asked and answered: no sock accounts from me. Sorry to disappoint you.

Now itโ€™s your turn to answer the question, which you wonโ€™t.

reply

I know itโ€™s hard for a progressive such as yourself to be honest, youโ€™ve been taught to lie your entire life. Fortunately I donโ€™t engage with dishonest people such as yourself.

reply

The only obvious sock in this topic is you.

reply

^ Sock #1

reply

Nope just you. You've already admitted you're a liar by claiming you're a liberal.

reply

^ sock #2

reply

Says the sock who supports T-rump! LOL

Now that your thread has gone up in smoke in a matter of days, something tells me your newly created sock account will be doing the same, as most sock accounts do. So let me take this time to say, "See ya!"

reply

For a guy with 45 posts, you seem AWFULLY well-versed on doggiedaddy and the topic of sock accounts.

One has to wonder if YOU'RE a sock account given that.

reply

No one has to wonder that BloodLake is a sock account. And no one has to wonder how long before it evaporates.

reply

Everyone knows you have 10+ sock accounts, itโ€™s beyond obvious. You also seem to be unemployed based on your posting history, probably get all your funding from the Government lol.

reply

Youโ€™re really circling the drain and gasping for air.

Bye bye!

reply

Yet Iโ€™m still here, you need to seek help.

reply

So you TWICE voted for someone "too communist" for your taste?

Lol

reply

Youโ€™re a silly, silly troll

reply

I call bull shiz.

reply

Indeed.

reply

OP, seriously??? What about all the lies he has told???? Look it up, it's shocking. I doubt that he will make it through this term.

reply

All presidents lie, Bill Clinton said he didnโ€™t have sexual relations with that woman, Bush said that their were weapons of mass destruction, Obama said that if we didnโ€™t like our doctor that we could find a new one.

Most of Trumps lies are just exaggerations to boast his own ego. The problem is that the media lies about him on a daily basis so itโ€™s hard to figure out where the truth lies most of the time. For example, the media claimed that he said that Mexicans are all violent rapists.....but we then learned that Trump was referring to illegal immigrants.

reply

But HE lies. You admit that.

And you said Obama lied (undoubtedly) yet you voted for him twice (VERY doubtedly)....so why should we listen to an amoral person like you who voted for one liar and supports another enough to create this highly dubious thread?

reply

Because all human beings lie, especially politicians. If I wasnโ€™t allowed to vote for someone who lies then who could I vote for?

I donโ€™t know about you but I live in this thing called reality. Maybe you should step outside of the false Utopia that Obama created.

reply

Because all human beings lie,

In your response to me above, you say 'progressives' lie, and we're taught to lie our entire lives. You didn't say 'all human beings lie' - you purposely singled out progressives.

I guess it's hard for a sock troll like you to keep your story straight, and you have to - gasp! - lie ??????

reply

LOL, yeah this sock troll was flipping the narrative faster than pancakes at IHOP.

And the account is full of stupid:

Disney must be buying tickets to their own movie because our local theaters arenโ€™t very full.

Either that or the Democrats are paying illegal immigrants to buy tickets so the numbers are inflated.

reply

Bwahahahahahahahahaha!

reply

Do you disagree that โ€œall humans lieโ€? I know you think that progressives never lie and conservatives always lie. The reason I pointed out that progressives lie is because most of them honestly believe that they never lie.

reply

If i take your statement of "all humans lie" as an axiom, then it's perfectly fair of me to say you've been lying this entire thread, right?

reply

I never said human beings always lie every minute of the day, I just made the obvious observation that everyone lies here and there throughout their life. Try using your brain once in a while, would ya?

reply

Oh I am. That's how I know you're a very transparent sock account. But too childish to just admit it.

reply

If Iโ€™m a sock account then what are my other accounts?

Wouldnโ€™t they be running to my rescue right now? Kind of like how you, Froggy, and Ultra follow around Doggie and defend his honor every waking second of the day. Think about it champ.

reply

you seem to know a lot about all of us for a guy with (now) 55 posts.

Or are you too dense to see THAT'S a dead giveaway?

reply

Whatever is said about Trump, as of right now, it's hard to see who could beat him in the next election.

It is no wonder that some people who consider them selves to be liberal or progressive are at least (re)considering Trump.

As of today, the alternative is to go way left (Bernie), or else stick with some conformist where it will be back to business as usual.

reply

No liberal or progressive is โ€œ reconsidering โ€œ T-rump. That Fox News bullish!t, trying to make their savior look good.

If anything, T-rump is losing ground with Republicans right now - especially those who got hit with the tax bill he promised would โ€œ help themโ€. Theyโ€™re turning on him in droves.

reply

Liberals are fleeing the Democratic Party as we speak now that progressive nut jobs are crawling out of the sewers. Trump has 2020 in the bag thanks to dangerous far left wing extremists.

reply

I was referring to this! OP: "Trump has really surprised me so far and I might actually vote for him in the next election. Itโ€™s good to have Republicans who look out for us Liberals"

I agree he is losing some ground with reps now, but initially he was not supposed to have much ground to begin with. And my main point was to say, despite this - as you say the negative effects around the tax bill - there is nobody there to capitalize. No rep to seriously lead a charge and no dem either.

Trump won't fulfill all of his promises and will do some things that contradict what he said he would do, but he can afford to do this.

reply

It's still early. Biden has not announced anything yet, and neither has Beto. Those are the two 'big names' Dems are waiting for, and then the primaries begin this summer. And we still have over a month before tax filings are due, and Americans prepare for their 'sticker shock' (which all the media had told them all along, except FOX News).

And once the primaries begin, Americans - Republicans, T-rumpers, Never T-rumpers, Democrats, Indepedents, Libertarians, Democratic Socialists, and everyone else - will be reeling from the tax bill they have gotten hit with this spring, and the money they doled out to the government because they saw their exemptions over the past decade evaporate before their eyes.

reply

Arenโ€™t you the same guy who claimed that Jussie Smollet was attacked by white supremacists? Like we should believe a single word you vomit out of your mouth lolz.

reply

Arenโ€™t you the same guy who claimed that Jussie Smollet was attacked by white supremacists?

I didn't 'claim' that - Jussie did. I posted on his claim. You do know the difference, right ?

Then again, someone who is not smart enough NOT to vote twice for a candidate she abhors is probably not smart enough to tell the difference between the two. (I might be giving this sock account too much credit in the intelligence department).

reply

You copied and pasted fake news and never apologized for it...you sick puppy.

I had no choice but to vote for communist Obama a 2nd time because his opposition would have ruined the country way worse.

reply

Didn't "copy and paste" anything....you sick sock account. He needs to apologize, not me. See - you are one of those "very low IQ people" T-rump loves.

I had no choice but to vote for communist Obama a 2nd time because his opposition would have ruined the country way worse.

People always have a choice, unless they enjoy playing victim. You didn't have to vote in 2012 for "communist Obama" or his opposition (Romney). You could have written in a candidate, or simply sat out the election. You always have a choice. But you're obviously not smart enough to know that. You keep proving yourself again and again of being a 'low IQ T-rumptard' which T-rump loves.

reply

Ahhh your one of those dum dums who thinks voting for someone who has no chance is noble. Youโ€™re boring me now.

reply

LOL! Not 'boring you' - I'm surpassing you, and you certainly can't keep up.

Idiots like you who claim "I had no choice" in any situation are the weakest among us. You always have a choice, but you seem to enjoy being the defeatist.

I gave you two choices - write in a candidate, or sit out the election. Either of those are better choices than voting for someone you abhor. and complaining about it seven years later.

Isn't it time you went back in the sock drawer?

reply

No, neither of those choices do anything to help the best candidate available get into office.

You mine as well rub peanut butter on your chest and ride the short bus.

reply

You say Romney would've ruined the country way worse than "communist" Obama but the only policy Romney cared about was lowering taxes for him and his wealthy buddies which is the only thing Trump has accomplished.

reply

Wrong, Trump got black people jobs, record amounts, his greatest achievement so far. He also exposed the fake news media on a scale weโ€™ve never seen before, Americans distrust the media now more than ever, a huge win for Conservatives for sure.

reply

Wow - this thread didn't age well at all, and it's only two days old.

Better luck next time, sock.

reply

It aged better than your Jussie Smollet thread. ๐Ÿ˜‚

reply

Not quite. Try again.

reply

"It aged better than your Jussie Smollet thread."

Ouch. lol

A lot of people want to fit everyone in their neat little boxes with perfect little labels. It's not your fault they can't wrap their heads around anything that isn't group think. Also, as a funny little side-note, UV denies me my own nationality, so it seems to be a pattern.
