T-rump's been listening to Ann Coulter's advice on government shutdown
In a recent interview, Ann Coulter 'doubled down' on T-rump and the wall, saying, “He is dead in the water if he doesn’t build that wall. Dead, dead, dead.”
She echoed what she said just a few weeks ago, right before the government shutdown by claiming his presidency would be a 'joke' if he caves in on the wall.
“More Americans die from drug overdose every year than died in the entire course of the Vietnam War, and the vast majority of those drugs are being brought in because we have a wide-open border. I care more about that than I care about the Yosemite gift shop being open,” Coulter said . (She ignored the facts that more illegal drugs are brought in through ports of entry rather than smuggled in across the border.)
When it was noted that hundreds of thousands of federal workers missed a paycheck on Friday, Coulter sarcastically remarked, “Oh, gosh, they’ll have to wait a few months before they know fully well they’re going to be paid in full.”
Coulter, a conservative columnist, also acknowledged that T-rump "reads my stuff", even though he unfollowed her on Twitter.
Just a day after Coulter said in a December interview that “It’ll just have been a joke presidency who scammed the American people,” she said at the time. “. . . he’ll have no legacy whatsoever,” if T-rump caved in on the wall, T-rump refused to sign a bill to keep the government open through February if it didn't include money for the wall. The government shut down a day later.
Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) accused Coulter and other republican commentators of “completely” flipping Trump and getting into his head, adding that it was a “tyranny of talk radio hosts".
