shareWe've all been accused of doing something we haven't done. And I am sure you have accused someone of doing something that they haven't done. It's all a natural part of humanity. But to say that makes it ok for any of us to engage in tinfoil hat conspiracies and call it journalism, you've clearly missed the point on what journalism is.
On the topic of Kavanaugh, you may believe he didn't do it, but that is because of bias, not fact-based journalism. Just like this blog is because of bias, and not fact-based journalism.

Unfortunately fact based journalism doesn't exist anymore, otherwise every news station would report the same exact news. We have opinion based journalism and with the rise of the internet, anyone can say anything they want whether its true or not.
I can accuse you of stealing 10 bucks from me and now the burden of proof is on you to claim your innocence. You are now the guilty one and I am innocent. If anyone accused of anything is automatically guilty then our society would soon crumble and everyone would be in jail. But who would run the jail if everyone is in jail? Its a conundrum.

I wasn't on anyone's side until the hearing. In fact, I don't even recall posting about it until the hearing. When Kavanaugh's own calendar, that he brought in to refute her, ended up pinpointing a party in the timeframe she specified, and contained people she identified as being there, it became too improbable for it not to happen.
Also, putting Kavanaugh's friend Mark Judge in the room with them is the worst thing she could possibly do if it was a fabricated story. There is no way Judge would go along with it. But instead of putting him under oath, Senate republicans are scurrying around looking for an excuse not to. Why?
On top of it, Kavanaugh lied under oath about what a Devil's Triangle is. On top of that, Kavanaugh was the one showing outrage in a hearing he had prepared weeks for. I've never seen anyone as outraged over a false accusation. Not Obama, not Kobe, not anybody. Yet here is Ford, remaining calm and collected throughout the entire thing.
That is what I based my opinion on. If you call it bias, fine, but I still waited until the hearing to weigh the options, unlike you who said she was lying from the first moment Trump and republicans told you what to think.

If she had said something like 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 or 35 years ago then it might be more believable. Her story didn't come out til the week that Kavanaugh was supposed to be voted on, coincidence?
Its your opinion that she is telling the truth. Everybody has opinions. Its my opinion that pea soup is disgusting. Maybe something did happen 36 years ago, but how do you prove it? Its a he said she said story.
Ford is a Psychology Professor and was obviously coached by her 2 lawyers and what to say and how to act. She knew what she was doing and did it well.

Wrong. Her story didn't gain traction until Kavanaugh was supposed to be voted on.
