One of my college professors was a blonde, blue-eyed Puerto Rican. She felt impelled to tell her class that yes, she really was from Puerto Rico, and that people from all colors and ethnicities lived there, and here's an example of Spanish spoken with a Puerto Rican accent.

I assume that Del Toro is now famous enough that he doesn't have to tell anyone that he's a perfectly genuine Mexican.

There are plenty of very light-skinned mexicans in Mexico. I cannot imagine being so culturally ignorant that I would make a thread like this
