Is he still going to make 'Haunted Mansion?'
I remember a few years ago hearing he was going to remake it and make it the way it should have been made (better and dark).

As far as I know yes, according to him Haunted Mansion is still happening and Disney is very enthusiastic about it. No word on when it will be put into production. He is working with Disney on drafting the screenplay as far as I know. And he does have a lot on his plate right now, lots of projects he's signed up for and lots of things he wants to do. It's probably going to be a very long time before Haunted Mansion goes into production.
