As a side note, it's interesting that Betsy DeVos wants to abolish or water-down Title IX proceedings and standards for colleges, many of which have been quite effective in protecting the survivors of college sex assaults.

The two accused young men interviewed in this documentary both appeared to be liberals. One, the man focus of the documentary, is an Afghan-born immigrant who references a poem Obama read at Mandela's memorial, in his defence; the other lives in Texas at a home that has a 'Beto [O'Rourke]' sign in the front yard. Could you get anymore stereotypically liberal than these two young men?

So why the hell is DeVos and her administration so committed to protecting these men?

Let's face it, most of the Millennials attending college now will be liberals. Few of them will support Trump. Some of them may even be immigrants and Dreamers who feel entitled to follow the American Dream. The GOP shouldn't be defending their misogynist asses. It should be condemning these rapists and standing by the women who have been assaulted by them!
