Wow, didn't expect to see him in this show. Kind of looking forward to this now. 😜

David's voiceover of "Jessica" can be heard in the trailer.

I'm also interested to see if Tennant fangirls become rape apologists based on this role.

Tennant has played a creep before(in Secret Smile) so I'm looking forward to see how unlikable he'll make this role. Yeah, some Tennant fans who only know him as the Tenth Doctor will probably be shocked. ;)

Interesting. I was recently reading a fan girl's take on "The Politician's Husband" in which David's character, Aiden, sexually attacks his wife Freya (Emily Watson). And the blogger's take was apologist.

I didn't see the character as very remorseful about it.

I'm really curious to see how Kilgrave will get received. The early reviews from those who saw the premiere at this weekend's New York Comic Con described him as chilling and horrifying. I'm sure it will rock the fans of the 10th doctor who don't know about "Secret Smile", "The Bill" or "The Politician's Husband". I don't count Barty Crouch Jr as that scary because he wasn't in the Harry Potter film much and the take on being evil was cartoonish so kids could see it.

I haven't seen those films, but I'd be willing to guess that his role in them won't compare to how despicable Kilgrave is. He's one of the worse villain in the Marvel universe.

They (the three previous roles) are a good primer for how dark David is capable of playing. Yes, it sounds like Kilgrave is all three together.

The Bill (I think the episode is called "Deadline") and Secret Smile are both on YouTube. The Politician's Husband is online too if you search for it.
