Returning In The Defenders?

Ok I know it's confirmed that he won't be coming back in season 2 of Jessica Jones. But does anyone have hopes that he'll come back in The Defenders? If he (Kilgrave) died and returned in the comics, he can do the same in the show. However, that depends on the writers and if David is willing to reprise his role

Nothing's announced but since he's doing a film in Portland starting next month, it wouldn't be a stretch to do a couple of cameos as Kilgrave -- possibly in nightmare sequences. He seems able to squeeze in a lot of voice over work on weekends, so I could see a cameo here or there if the writing's good. Never say never.
