Past history


Travis was born in Beaumont TX and first received his Theatre training under Director Bill N. Morton at French High School in Beaumont, TX. Bill's Theatre Dept spawned a wealth of talent during the 1970's, Morton help lay the foundation for many recognizable actors, directors, and speakers. Among these was a young
auspicious fellow Thespian who also found Theatre first by studying and gaining inspiration from Dir. Bill N. Morton. He was the late Kelly Adam Asbury. This awesome American animated films, who also was a director, writer, voice actor, and illustrator and is probably best known for directing the animated film Shrek 2, among many other good ones. Both of these 'Morton' men have carved out their spot in Theatre History. They are SAG members, as well as having received many other recognitions in their lives. They are proud Texans who represent their early days with French High School, Director Bill N. Morton, Stage Door and Beaumont, TX.
A little side note; Travis had the main role in the first of Morton's productions to reach the highest level of achievement in secondary schools in UIL TX State. Proud moments for both of these young men were yet to come.
