I heard hes a jerk

I just saw with out a paddle today and I recognized him from remember the titans. He has lost a lot of weight. Good Job dude. My friend worked with him on the remember the titans movie in Georgia and said he was a real jerk, because he thought he was hot stuff but there alot of people like that in hollywood. anyways just wanted to say he was pretty funny in with out a paddle even if he is mean.

the dude has to be one of the coolest guys in hollywood i think

I've heard mostly good stuff about Ethan and in his interviews he always seems like decent guy. On the other hand, I don't know anything about your friend. Maybe he's the jerk?

I think sometimes people expect too much of celebrities, in the sense that, becaues they're famous we think that we can approach them at any time and chat with them as though we knew each other. I can only imagine that that could be very irritating at times, I'm a fairly shy person, so that would put me off, I think... Either way, he's very good at what he does, and since my chances of meeting him are pretty slim, I guess it doesn't really affect me one way or the other ...though I must agree with Thonolan in saying that he seems like a decent guy in interviews etc...

yeah, but you seemed decent until i saw your name which made it clear that you are a complete douche.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you mean...do you mean that you dislike my screen-name and that makes you question my opinions more so, than you would simply based on what I'm saying...?

Not to be contentious, here, but the name is rather tongue-in-cheek if you knew me...

I'm just trying to understand the statement is all, rather strange really...

I'm going with justinlesamiz on this one, littlepunkrocker? Give me a break...

sigh...

It would seem I have to explain the phrase 'tongue in cheek' to some unfortunate people...I stand by my original assertion, however, that I am unsure how a screen name should have any bearing on one's opinion, but here goes...in brief:

I am a graduate student and during a recent discussion of the bpm's of a particular soundtrack my professor made the joking comment: "well aren't you just the little punk rocker" to me...this was amusing given that I don't particularily have an affinity for punk music, nor do I ....to borrow the phrase "dress the part." It was only in reference to this discussion that I chose the moniker...I signed up shortly after that particular class...it seemed funny to me. I was unaware that such an offhand choice would offend such high brow individuals as our justinlesamiz or puppetastic- who have yet to contribute anything to the discussion at hand...

Now please explain to me how justinlesamiz or puppetastic is particularily original or comical by contrast...give ME a break little boy... I don't care if you call yourself monkeyballs...you still haven't made an interesting point.

Haha, wow.

How people react to your user name is immature, and does not show any rationality. I mean, look at my user name......are people going to look down upon my name because it seems immature??? I just put two of my favorite bands at the time (The Strokes and The Vines) into a funny little phrase.

Anyways, about Ethan....

I have not seen Without a Paddle, but now I want to. I have enjoyed a lot of the films Ethan has been in; the Kevin Smith movies (Mallrats, Chasing Amy, etc.), American History X, Blow, and I just got finished watching The Butterfly Effect. I used to love him as the cronie on Boy Meets World also.

I'm sure most actors/actresses do not like people approaching them constantly. That is why some don't go out in public often without something to hide their identity. Ethan, to me, seems like a decent guy though.
