Amazing in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

Amazing is a bit of a stretch. She did well for someone with so little acting experience.

**spoilers below for those who haven’t seen the movie**

I agree wholeheartedly. I think Eddie Redmayne and Dan Fogler will get the most attention from the movie, but I also thought Katherine Waterston and Alison Sudol gave nice nuanced performances that were perhaps not as “showy” (although Queenie obviously looks quite glamourous, and that smile – it’s very dazzling). I thought they were believable as sisters, and I liked the relationship that grew between Queenie and Jacob (quite the feat given how late into the movie her character was introduced and how the two of them were only given a limited amount of screen time to build the romance between their characters). I thought Alison Sudol did a great job at showing there was more to Queenie than what may have first appeared. I found her almost instantly likeable and so sweet/endearing. I also loved this new group of four who I felt we got to know enough that we could actually *care* about what happened to them. Case in point: the scene towards the end where Jacob was about to leave the group and have his memories of them/magic erased – I thought the actors had definitely succeeded in building this group relationship since I actually found the scene emotionally effective. And at the very end of the movie, that scene between Queenie and Jacob? SO good! I can’t wait to see more of these characters together.

She was absolutely stunning, a woman after my taste.

The best part of FB was this girl and the Muggle Jacob. I thought they carried the story. She's very pretty, cute smile, and I really didn't enjoy the other characters as much as this couple. Hope they use them more in FB2.

oh yes, she´s really enchanting :-).

i didn´t notice her before, though, reading her filmography, i found out that i saw her before in few roles.

I'd never heard of her before this movie. I thought she stood out in a really good cast. She could've been terribly annoying but she was really funny and actually had chemistry with Kowalski.

Stole the movie, most of the bigger name actors were dull

I agree with MoanaOfHollywooden that Alison is a breakout star in Fantastic beasts. I hope we get a lot more of Queenie and Jacob in the upcoming movies in the series. She lights up the screen. Watching her misuc performances, you can see she has so much charisma and personality. She's a great performer. I read that her parents were both dramatic arts teachers, so she grew up acting, and she was trained well. She really made me love Queenie. I see some Marilyn Monroe in Queenie's character too.
