She was into dudes her whole life...

until her career tanked then she got into chicks.

But it's not a choice, right?

reply

When exactly do you think her career tanked? She is still working steady and her career seems to be doing just fine. And no, sexual orientation is not a choice. And it is no one else's business if she is attracted to men or women or both.

reply

if its no ones business who she is attracted too why is she advertising it in a sad way to stay relevant?!

reply

Who cares either way?

This is America. We've got freedom of choice. Like Devo says in the song.

reply

Whip it good? I hardly see how that's relevant...

jk

reply

Maybe the reference was to “Are we not men?”

reply

Are we not men? No we're evil and the cause of everything bad.

reply

So tell us about that time you and Kristen sat down and she confided in you about who she was and wasn't attracted to... surely that's the only way you can make a claim like "she was into dudes her whole life" with a straight face, if you'll pardon the pun.

reply

See below.

reply

Are you saying that people, including straight men, can CHOOSE to be gay? So that means that YOU specifically can choose to be gay. You believe that, if you so desire, you can enjoy sucking men's dicks

That sounds like a WAYY gayer ideology than believing that people are born either straight, gay, bi, etc.

reply

Well see, before this modern era, it was considered bigoted and homophobic to suggest that being gay is a choice.

Clearly, some are born with the predilection for being a homosexual, while others choose so. That's the point. Until fairly recently, the message was that being gay was no ever a choice. Now I can't remember anyone trying to say what others were demonized for suggesting in the past. Stewart is the perfect example. She dated males her entire life until her last relationship. Obviously she wasn't born a homosexual.

reply

She dated males her entire life until her last relationship. Obviously she wasn't born a homosexual.

You sound ill-informed. It is not uncommon for gay people to date the opposite sex before coming out, in fact I would say it’s more often than not the case. Whether straight people can comprehend it or not, it’s entirely possible to engage in sexual activity with one gender while desiring another more. Perhaps gay people take a while to come out sometimes because of shitty public reactions and misconceptions not unlike the judgemental ones you see in internet discussions such as this.

But who knows, maybe Stewart is bisexual. Maybe it’s none of our god-damned business.

reply

So activists and educators spending decades calling people ignorant bigots who said being gay wasn't a choice should be ashamed of themselves?

reply

To turn what you stated on its head, one could also point out that neither is it uncommon for those who identify themselves as straight to date those of the same sex--at least that's what some researchers have concluded: https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/sex-sexuality-and-romance/201811/6-reasons-why-straight-people-have-gay-sex

6 Reasons Why Straight People Have Gay Sex

In terms of pure numbers, we know that the vast majority of those who have gay sex identify as straight — and this is true for both women and men.

Before these studies revealed this fact, who would've thunk that the vast majority of gay sexual encounters were between heterosexual individuals? It sure sounds like a contradiction in terms, an oxymoron if you will. So I'll agree with you in that, unless Kristen herself openly admits that she is gay, or bisexual, or even straight--according to what these researchers have discovered--something for which she will not admit to, or label herself as, at the moment--we won't really know her true sexual orientation.

reply

No male I know would bonk her. She's a personality graveyard.

reply

Wrong. Oh hold on. I don’t know you. But I would definitely bonk her and then some.

reply

she's just stoned all the time. which actually makes her more likeable imo

reply

She identifies as bisexual. She has been dating only women for the past 6 years. What are you talking about?

reply

I don't think people are born with a predilection so much as they acquire preferences over time. The brain is a plastic thing that keeps reprogramming itself. Some programming is more permanent than other programming. Sexuality is like learning a language. Before you speak any language you have to be open to try to speak it. Like I don't mind learning Spanish, but Navajo. Hold on now. I already know my tongue is not going to be able to do those things.

reply

Being gay is 100% a choice! You’ve just been brainwashed into thinking that it’s not.

reply

I'm super-conservative, and even I don't believe this. Look at the flamers with the lisp, light-loafers, gay mannerisms from a young age, fashion-sense, etc. etc. etc. All of that is not "chosen" or "acting gay". I think it's a mix of genetics and choice. And some land in the middle and call themselves bi-sexual.

reply

I read that new scientific studies show all gays have gay genes, but not all people with gay genes are gays. In some people those genes need to be activated, the exact mechanism of that is not certain as yet, but it definitely has something to do with environmental factors.

reply

I mostly agree with this "study" that you reference, but I'm always careful with the word "all". I bet there are some gays without gay genes; it's just strictly a choice based on the environment. This is what concerns me about gay men adopting boys.

Certainly years ago, someone like Rock Hudson probably had the "gay gene" but suppressed it because it wasn't socially acceptable. I personally wish that all gay men were more "normal" (straight-acting), like Rock Hudson and Robert Reed, and not the over-acting flamers that we're harvesting today.

Tell me that Johnny Weir is really good for creating unity among gays and straight people. I don't think so. At a time when we are trying to unite and accept people's differences, I think the flamers are instead causing further divide. Some of this is exaggerated gayness just to attract attention and controversy. "Love me, hate me, but don't you dare ignore me", is the driving force behind anyone seeking media attention. [See: Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson et al].

Society is in for trouble in 100 years (or less) when gene-mutation therapy is a simple trip to the doctor's office. [Or due to laws, maybe an underground one, figuratively not literally]. Something similar is already happening in China, where female abortions exceed males by 20%.

reply

I believe behaviors and the way they dress is a choice but sexual attractions are really not. It is a simple test really, when a man sees boobs, is he excited or not? That is not something you can choose.

reply

I'm super-conservative, and even I don't believe this.

This is the problem with Conservatives... you're not conserving anything, you're duping yourself into accepting Leftist ideology.

There was never a gay gene, there will never be gay genes; the whole "born gay" hoax was just that, a hoax started by gay propagandists, Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen, back in the 80s via a pro-sodomy magazine called Christopher Street. Sadly, everyone, including Conservatives, lapped it up with ZERO evidence to back up their ridiculous claims. You can read about it here:
https://www.massresistance.org/docs/gen/08a/born_gay_hoax/TheBornGayHoax.pdf

There is no endocrinology, no genetic, nor any neurophysiological studies that back up those claims. Even Left-wing scientists had to admit there is no gay gene, there never was one:
https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-019-02585-6

It was always a myth, as admitted to (finally) by Leftists:
https://www.forbes.com/sites/dawnstaceyennis/2019/08/30/the-gay-gene-is-a-myth-but-being-gay-is-natural-say-scientists/?sh=1f00a4fa7fa7

Homosexuality is 100% behavioural. There is no such thing as genes recognizing "fashion sense" because fashion is 100% a social construct. Genes have no recognition of social constructs, only biological functions. And homosexuality serves no biological function according to the rules of Natural Selection.

reply

Wow you're either really "out there", or trolling. Far be it for ME to be defending the gay community, first time for everything, but your theories are really whacked.

Have you ever spoken to a gay person? Most will tell you that they knew they were gay in 1st Grade. You can't tell me that their environment has gotten to them already at that young age. I guess you'll claim that they're BS'ing us so that they can blame their gayness on Genes rather than take personal responsibility.

reply

Wow you're either really "out there", or trolling. Far be it for ME to be defending the gay community, first time for everything, but your theories are really whacked.

They're not theories it's a fact.

The scientific model doesn't assume truth based on claims; queries are put through hypothetical scrutiny and if the facts bear out, they become theories that must be tested.

The burden of proof is on YOU and the other propagandists to prove that people are born gay.

I'm outright telling you there is NO science -- none, zilch, zip -- that coincides with that claim, because every claim that's been tested has not bore out fulfillment of said claim. I already linked to you studies showing there is no gay gene.

There is ZERO evidence from endocrinology reports showing any signs of gay adrenal glands.

There is ZERO evidence of gay gene clusters.

There is ZERO evidence of gay allele strands.

There is ZERO evidence a gay neurophysiological protein.

Read the peer reviewed studies for yourself if you don't believe me.

Have you ever spoken to a gay person? Most will tell you that they knew they were gay in 1st Grade.

Anecdotal claims are neither fact nor admissible as scientific; which is the problem with people on the Left, completely ignoring fact to believe fiction. I could claim I'm the President of Ecuador, does that make it true?

You can't tell me that their environment has gotten to them already at that young age.

That's literally what the science says:
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/11501300/

I guess you'll claim that they're BS'ing us so that they can blame their gayness on Genes rather than take personal responsibility.

That's literally what they said in the Christopher Street article. Read it for yourself. As I said, the burden of proof is on you (and your gay allies) to show the hard science where these gay genes are located. So far, they don't exist, there is no science that backs up your claim anywhere.

The fact people peddle this lie with zero scientific backing doesn't bother you at all?

reply

LOL, OK I'll follow up on your references. I am in no way "on the left", nor do I have a single gay ally.

I did know a lesbian named Ally once though. Too bad, because she was smoking hot!

reply

Cool beans.

Also, you'll find that a lot of the resources will have geneticists and physiologists claiming there's a "genetic component" to homosexuality, but whenever you press them for the details, they go silent.

One scientist boldly claimed homosexuality was not a choice whatsoever, but funnily enough other scientists in the comment section took her to task by asking how an estimated (and not verified) 8% - 25% chance of some random genetic influence removed the choice? No answer from her. You can read the comments for yourself here:
https://theconversation.com/stop-calling-it-a-choice-biological-factors-drive-homosexuality-122764#comment_2008805

If you try to follow the studies to find out what gene cluster these genes are located in, there are none (You know how they've discovered gene identifiers for things like height, motor skills, neurological development, etc.? Well, no clusters for gay behavioural traits, but scientists insist it exists... somewhere!)

Hilariously enough even some of the alphabet advocates are admitting it's a choice:
https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20160627-i-am-gay-but-i-wasnt-born-this-way
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2094099/Cynthia-Nixon-gay-choice-Actress-seeks-clarify-comments-causing-outrage.html

But the real crux of the matter is that ALL sexuality is based on neurotransmitters secreted by a pituitary gland operated by the hypothalamus. Why is this important? because during prenatal development, the hypothalamus has less than 20% of its cell functionality, and isn't formed enough to enable sexual attraction until the limbic system is fully formed AFTER birth:
https://archive.is/wip/ode7j

Ergo, you can't be born gay (or sexually attracted to anything for that matter, since the organ for that cognitive function isn't even properly formed at that stage of development)

reply

This is what it looks like when the medication runs out.

You actually can be born that way, as your genetics will later determine those cognitive functions and organ being developed.

amazing humans have been lying to themselves about being gay for thousands of years!

reply

You actually can be born that way, as your genetics will later determine those cognitive functions and organ being developed.

Your cognitive functions are shaped by your sensory organs, which are determined completely by your environment. However, your sensory functions aren't even fully formed during the perinatal stage since the limbic system isn't completely developed (viz., how can you sense anything if the process to which you sense isn't properly functioning yet?).

Ergo, you CANNOT be born with a predisposition before the organ itself is developed, which is why the neurtransmitters CANNOT induce a cognitive pattern before the neurotransmitters themselves exist, which is physiologically impossible since the hypothalamus isn't fully formed.

And again, there are genetic markers for motor skills, height, eyesight, hearing, retentive capacities, and synaptic development, yet there are ZERO genetic markers for homosexuality:
https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-019-02585-6

Ergo, your genes cannot determine your sexuality if there are no genetic markers for it.
--

Here's a little exercise for you, though: try to describe something you find attractive without using any of your five senses.

reply

this is what happens when you get off your medication in a nutshell.

I can be predisposed to not like mustard. and be a ketchup person. even before I taste them. this doesn't mean I chose to like ketchup.

sir why did you choose to like the food you do? and dislike the ones you dont? that was all a choice

dont worry I know. its the secret gay lifestyle and their agenda! they were around in Ancient Greek convincing people to choose to be gay

reply

Damn, that's a piss poor rebuttal to all the scientific examples that cyguration presented. Even if you don't agree with what he wrote you're rebuttal makes you look completely inept. The guy (agree with him or not) was actually having a conversation, and twice you mocked him with
"this is what happens when you get off your medication". I'm going to be honest, your responses are what happens when you get triggered, and can't handle a difference of opinion. You mentally revert to a 5 year old and resort to name calling. Real mature.

reply

He wasnt having any engaging conversation. he posted two opinion pieces by journalists! hardly the definitive authority on modern scientific study.

next he says "But the real crux of the matter is that ALL sexuality is based on neurotransmitters secreted by a pituitary gland operated by the hypothalamus. Why is this important? because during prenatal development, the hypothalamus has less than 20% of its cell functionality, and isn't formed enough to enable sexual attraction until the limbic system is fully formed AFTER birth:"

and what determines how those will developed BEFORE BIRTH. oh right. genetics.

and even if I am completely wrong, that STILL doesn't make his assertion that its a choice true. an assertion he has yet to present a single piece of evidence for!

its the fallacy creationists do all the time. THey say "evolution isn't true therefore creationism is". Well no you have to prove creation is true on its own. showing this other thing isnt true doesnt make the other thing true

"you get triggered, and can't handle a difference of opinion. You mentally revert to a 5 year old"

Please leave mr high and mighty. you would maintain your fake guise of neutrality and superiority better if you weren't such a hypocritical dull witt

reply

See, more name calling...

reply

and you 5 minutes ago. ""you get triggered, and can't handle a difference of opinion. You mentally revert to a 5 year old""

your high and mighty schtick is truly pitiful.

its one thing to insult. they arent a big deal im a grown adult so are other on here.

its another to pretend to be some superior moral arbiter while doing the very thing you are chastising others for. truly sir you are a pitiful bag of crap.

reply

and it gets worse. based off your other replies. its clear you are a biased conservative.

so now not only pretending to be the moral arbiter, but pretending to be neutral with no horse in the race! sir I upgrade you from bag of crap to pile of crap!

this is the problem with you conservatives on here. you all seem to be lying cowards. I guess thats the benefits of internet anonymity. you can all just be lying cowards

reply

Awesome, keep going. You have such a vast understanding of the English language. Your superior usage of it is mind bending.

reply

no need. i've destroyed you enough. thats why you have no rebuttal.

reply

I've no need of rebuttal. I want to read your brilliant replies.

reply

I can be predisposed to not like mustard. and be a ketchup person. even before I taste them. this doesn't mean I chose to like ketchup.

No, you can't... not without taste buds. How can you know how either taste if your taste buds haven't been fully developed?

sir why did you choose to like the food you do? and dislike the ones you dont? that was all a choice

Stimuli. You need to experience it to develop an affinity/aversion.

dont worry I know. its the secret gay lifestyle and their agenda! they were around in Ancient Greek convincing people to choose to be gay

As I stated before, the onus is on you to provide evidence of being born gay (for which there is none). Nothing in endocrinology, nothing in genetics, and certainly not neurophysiology.

It's a sociological phenomenon, impacted by psychological influences. You can read the study yourself right here:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6026959/

Physiological properties are the basis of behavioural influences, yet there is NO reputable science that indicates any of those somatic systems influence homosexual behaviour at birth.

reply

First of all she said before that she is open to dating both men and women but she doesn't wanna label her sexuality... which is what most people do
Second huh? What? Her career tanked ? Where she is getting awards at film festivals and is steadily there to present indie movies and have 3 big studio movies coming up. So nah her career didn't tank.

And PS no it isn't a choice... she didn't just suddenly decide to become gay.

reply

So... you don’t know that she still fancies guys?

She’s bi. Look for a better reason to justify your obvious agenda.

reply

Actually she was bi her whole life. When asked in an interview about her teenage crush she answered "Pink power ranger" and that was before she came out. There were rumour about her being lesbian for a long time, remember the old "Krisbian" meme?

reply

When asked in an interview about her teenage crush she answered "Pink power ranger" and that was before she came out.

Good gosh this generation is hopelessly degenerate.

You do know a lot of girls have crushes on other female celebrities without being lesbians, right?

reply

Yes I do know that. But we are talking about Kristen Stewart who is today lesbian/bisexual. The OP point is that she has been into dudes her whole life. I'm simply pointing out that she has had bisexual tenancies before so the OP point doesn't stand.

reply

You and most others on this thread think in an ignorant, binary manner.

reply

No I'm not. Many people here have a problem accepting the fact that she is into girls.

reply

That's not what people have a problem with, it's how she arrived at that destination that has led people to dangle their brain deeds into the ludicrousness of her conundrum.

reply

She arrived at it by trying to date dudes which didn't work out well. Nothing mysterious about it.

reply

Nah, she was normal for a little bit and then went off the deep-end.

If I had to guess she was probably traumatized by dating that entitled louse Robert Pattinson, and maybe she was passed around by some pervy producers, so decided to clean rugs instead.

reply

You're speculating with theories you want to believe in. Like I said she was a little bi since she was a child, she just "converted" after dating guys and found out it's not for her. She still identifies as "bi" because labelling herself as lesbian wouldn't be good for her career.

reply

Like I said she was a little bi since she was a child

There is no such thing as being a "little bi".

All your references to her lesbianism comes from interviews and reflections POST-lesbian alteration. You won't find any interviews or musings while she was dating guys talking about that stuff.

So obviously, Occam's Razor tells us this is something that happened after she dated Pattinson. He's probably some kind of perverse predator or something.

reply

[deleted]

Prove it

reply

"There is no such thing as being a "little bi"."

Of course there is. If you really think so, you're a moron.

reply

"post lesbian alteration"

sir dont stop the meds.

yes a little bi. which could mean swings both ways but prefers one sex far more. extremely bi would be prefers both equally. gay prefers the same sex. heterosexual prefers the opposite sex.

You think you are knowledgable yet sound like you are form 1950

reply

UGH...YOU SEEM TO BE TRYING TO COME OFF LIKE A JACKASS & A MORON.

reply

A connoisseur of such traits would know better than anyone.

reply

connoisseur

an expert judge in matters of taste.

WORKS FOR ME.

reply

Uhh... it means you've indulged yourself with such traits to the point where it's what you're most familiar with.

reply

YEAH...CONVERSING WITH YOU...THAT IS PROBABLY TRUE.

reply

I should feel so flattered to know you're so enthralled with my unmistakable wit and charm.... but alas, I am not.

reply

cyguration:

...decided to clean rugs instead.

OMFG I just lost it! That is so funny! I am stealing that one for sure! Thank you cyguration!

reply

Lol she's an actor ... You believe an interview... 🤦‍♂️

reply

Being a skank isn't a choice, and skanks dont have a sexual preference. Today the term is poly. She'll probably fuck a horse if she thinks it will get her off.

reply

That's not what poly means, you dumbass lol. I think you're thinking of the term pansexual. Fucking a horse would make her a zoophile, something else entirely. Words have meanings

You can be 100% straight and also poly. Poly just means that you're not really into monogamy to some extent
