Kristen is on the cover of Vanity fair September issue and she talks everything and she also did a video breaking down her career.

Very flattering article and pictures to match--presented like a true fan of Kristen. Any one of these pics would pass for a great profile pic on her IMDb page, while the words would be the perfect bio to describe her life and career thus far. Thanks a million for posting this Mody!

You are welcome and honestly 100% agree. These pics would be great on her IMDB.

Very nice pics, and a good interview. She gives some insight about how she felt misunderstood in the Twilight movie days, and how she may have mistakenly caused some of it. We knew she had some trouble dealing with the fame of it and as she says, partly she was misunderstood because she wasn't seeking fame. Just wanted to act and do the work she loves.

Good to see her open up a bit on several topics, also a bit about Charlie's Angels. She also talks about Person Shopper some, about ghosts and how she feels about that kind of thing.

Also noticed in the article how Kristen continues to speak highly of John Cassavetes, describing him as a "soul-driven and explorative" director. I recall several years ago how she greatly admired Gena Rowlands, specifically in her Oscar-nominated performance in Cassavetes' A Woman Under the influence.

Durga Chew-Bose, really gets her style of acting and modeling, stating how Kristen doesn't overact, but is understated in her performances, is both determined yet unconcerned in the way she dresses and reinvents herself every single day. As a longtime fan of Kristen, I feel the same way about how she presents herself in her film and fashion career.

Loved the article and the accompanying video, but oh how I wish that said video contained comments about Speak and The Cake Eaters. I would have really loved to hear Kristen talk about those two films which are so vital to my Kristen fandom.
In fact, one could say that A Fan Under the Influence of those two roles describes me perfectly!

And now you'll have to excuse me while I pat myself on the back for so adroitly connecting my post to LL's.
"OUCH! That hurts." (Guess I'm not as flexible as I used to be.)

Yes, two of her best performances among many.

Without wishing to sound cliched, Carved, while I completely understand your need to Speak now or forever hold your peace, neither can you have your cake and eat it too.

From the 'Oh Those Silly Homonyms' file ...

Sorry LL, but I prefer to Speak now or forever hold my piece of cake (until I eat it, that is). ;-)

Under certain extenuating circumstances, such as being willing to speak one's mind while holding one's cake for an indefinite period of time and eating it when the right moment allows for it, it may be possible to both eat one's cake and have it too.

There are so many movies i wished she talked about.
