Kristen Stewart Style over the years.

"She may have started acting at the tender age of 8, but Kristen Stewart has clearly left her child star days in the past, as the actress has grown up to be a certified bombshell. The Twilight star may be notoriously private about her personal life, but the one thing she can't hide is the fact that she exudes sex appeal everywhere she goes. It probably helps that she has one of the hottest wardrobes we've ever seen that's full of both sleek and sultry fashions. Whether she's sporting a sweet feminine frock or rocking a cool androgynous look, Kristen has a way of looking insanely sexy no matter what she puts on. Scroll through to see over 50 smokin' hot photos of Kristen from over the years."

Agreed, she always does so well with her styles at events, premieres, etc. Contrasted with her casual style which is often grunge but even there she often looks good, cool as the article says. We have seen similar articles like this over the years talking about her sense of easy going, often cool type style, the tough styles that she just seems to be able to do so well with. :)

I'm sure fans can find more similar articles. :)

Kristen looks good in all of those pics, but if I were to narrow it down a bit, I would choose numbers 1, 8, 13, 14, 17, 18, 23, 26, 31, 35, 44, 47, and 52 as my faves from this bunch.

Would definitely agree, Ron, as she is one of the most photographed celebrities on the planet, especially if you count paparazzi pics. And there are a plethora of similar articles being that she is an effortless beauty in candid and informal situations, while being perpetually photogenic whenever she does photo shoots sporting haute couture attire.

But in order to personalize it, I'll instead provide the link to one of my YouTube videos containing over 50 of my personal fave still images of her over the years, accompanied by a song from one of Carved's fave rock bands, Scars on 45 entitled, "Friday I'm In Love": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C78I97Bgp6E

Since you mentioned Scars on 45, LL, I guess I should mention that their third cd, Satellite Town was finally released back on
August 3rd.

Despite my disappointment that the song 'Soulsaver', which was my favorite from their New Music Monday on YouTube collection, was not included on the cd, it is, nonetheless, an excellent album.

I have since burned a 22 track disc containing my favorite songs by Scars. The disc has five songs from their first cd, five from their second and seven from this newest one, as well as five others (including Soulsaver, which I downloaded from that YouTube vid). One day I'll post the YouTube addys of all 22 songs, but right now, I'm not sure if all the songs, especially those from the new album, are available for viewing.

Finally, regarding the collection of photos that Ron linked to, I have not yet seen them as I am somewhat hesitant to visit Pop Sugar. Perhaps one day I will, but for now, I think I'll just click on LL's music video.

UPDATE: OK, I just checked and found that only one song on my disc does not have a YouTube video. That song is 'Let the Bridges Burn', which was on the four song 'Troubadour' ep that Nova (the keyboard player) sent me last year. Perhaps later today I'll make a video of that song and post it on YouTube.

Meanwhile, LL's 'Friday I'm In Love' video definitely contains some of my favorite Kristen pics.

Earlier today I was listening to their songs from their Satellite Town album on YouTube, Carved, and must say I was impressed by the vocal ability of the leads as well as the witty lyricism. I'm pretty sure you will agree with this. However, what you may not agree with is my perception that some of their songs, namely "Forever" and "Mozambique" have a nice mainstream edge to them. I know Scars on 45 are known primarily as an indie rock band--yet what if they took one giant leap forward, or backward in the mind of an indie rock purist, and decided to collaborate with a superstar DJ/EDM producer such as David Guetta, Alan Walker, The Chainsmokers, Bassnectar, Zedd, etc., to put out a mainstream sound that would appease millions of young listeners?

Yes, you're probably rolling your eyes and shaking your head while reading this comment, yet wouldn't you want their popularity to skyrocket? Just like Kristen, who is predominantly an indie actress, will sign on to big budget, mainstream fare, from time to time if it suits her taste and preferences. According to Spotify data, hip hop and dance music have gotten more popular while rock and country music have declined, well at least among the younger generation, which is quite obvious. What may not be as obvious is according to the same data, danceability in a hit song has gone up since 2011. IMO, some of Scars on 45 songs have both noteworthy lyricism belted out by vocal talent--which probably would have made them much more popular had they been doing this back in the '80s. All they are lacking in this day and age is that EDM sound I spoke of earlier.

Case in point: "Forever" has less than 250 YouTube views even after 2 months after it was uploaded:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MTFwWVDrKY Similar with "Mozambique" which currently has only 365 views:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qr7I1I9aOTM

I consider the sheer lack of views criminal and does a great disservice to good music. Hypothetically speaking, had Justin Bieber sang "Forever" while being accompanied by DJ Khalid, or The Weeknd sang "Mozambique" while it was remixed by Daft Punk, I'm pretty sure both of these songs would be getting several million views on YouTube, not because they possess better voices than Danny Bemrose or Aimee Driver, but primarily because that's the type of music Millennials want.

An oldie that some have probably seen. Kristen at events from her youngest years. :)

The words contained in the title of that Glamour article "red carpet badassery" is somewhat of an oxymoron as the term red carpet is supposedly synonymous with ceremonial and formal occasions, which certainly applies to Hollywood's red carpet events.

So when Kristen decides on making her grand entrance sporting her grungy, tomboy chic style instead of haute couture attire which the vast majority of celebrities wear, she's making a statement in more ways than one, primarily being the antithesis as far as what a celebrity is expected to wear at such an event. And yet she still pulls it off as some of her best looks which have been captured by a camera occurred on the red carpet with her wearing casual attire as evidenced by Glamour's gallery which you provided the link to. It should likewise be stated that when she does choose to go the haute couture route, such as when modeling for a Chanel campaign for example, she appears breathtaking.

Even though people from all over the world will be watching such televised events, she still chooses to wear what she's comfortable wearing, as unconventional as it may be, instead of letting fashion strictly dictate that to her, forcing her to conform to the mold the fashion world wishes to cast her in. Again, just another example which shows she does things on her terms, wearing her heart on her sleeve, in a more literal than figurative sense--one of many qualities of her that I'm attracted to.

That's her being herself and just expressing herself, or just doing what she's comfortable with. I think that's the reason why she does so well. It's unique and not the same thing that others are doing yet she can pull it off so well. In contrast, she does fashion campaigns just as well and I think we often see her distinctness there, which the fashion houses embrace and use in the campaign. Same way they'd embrace other actresses or models in fashion campaigns.

Observing Kristen in a variety of settings supposedly gives us a well-rounded view of not only the type of actor that Kristen has become but in a sense, a glimpse of the kind of person she is, whether it's via film footage of her acting, modeling for a world-renowned fashion house, doing interviews, making live appearances on talk shows and the virtually limitless amount of paparazzi pics and videos that have been circulating around the internet, especially since her stint with The Twilight Saga film franchise. But then again, because there is a clear distinction in the way we might perceive her in a variety of settings as you mentioned, we may or may not really know her at all, as these lines between pretend and reality could be blurred. For example, in many of her films, she plays the role of a troubled woman/girl, who oftentimes lives on the fringe of society, a rebel, even as an outcast, who dresses, looks and acts the part by dressing down. This is the Kristen some may insist she is even in real life. Contrast this with the way she gets dolled up and adorned with haute couture attire while her face and hair are made up by a first-rate makeup artist and stylist for her Chanel campaigns--the very antithesis of each other in a fashion sense--looks which are diametrically opposed to each other. Add all the pap pics to the mix and we also supposedly see her raw, real and candid self. And yet, many, including her fans, could still misunderstand who she really is as if you were to examine her from all these angles, like an open book when photographed walking the streets of L.A., N.Y.C., or wherever else she happens to be in public, "a professional liar" as she would call the acting profession or a high fashion muse who must always be cool, calm, composed and charming while working the camera--whatever the case, she appears to be comfortable in her own skin, as paradoxical as this may sound. For this reason, she will remain a mystery to me, always leaving me wanting more.

I think it's very difficult to know any actor/actress, obviously since we see them mainly in TV/movies or in interviews. Seeing some of Kristen's interviews on her work where she gives candid info on the work, is probably about the best we can know her - through her work and expressed views on what she does and how she prepares, her process. That's why I like to hear what actors/actresses have to say about their roles and process of approaching roles. It adds good insight into movie making.

One thing I do feel we can know is that Kristen loves the movie making industry and is trying to explore all aspects, acting, directing and probably screen writing as she has said she loves to write. She's more an artist than someone looking to make the big bucks all the time.

She looks best with long hair and in more casual clothes. She always looks uncomfortable to me when she does the haute couture/red carpet thing.

Agreed, though she's embraced some of the fashion stuff with the Balenciaga and Chanel campaigns she does. .
