Thanks for that info, Mody.

Unfortunately for most of us, it seems that Lizzie will only be getting a limited release on that date.
As you can see by the following page, boxoffice mojo lists films with a wide release in a bold font and those with a limited release in a regular font.
http://www.boxofficemojo.com/schedule/?view=bydate&release=all&date=2018-09-07&showeeks=4&p=.htm

So that means that only a few will be able to see 'Lizzie' on that date. The rest of us will probably have to wait.

Meanwhile, I have to add that the name of the distribution company, 'Roadside Attractions,' cracks me up as it was obviously (to me, at least) taken from the title of Tom Robbins' first novel, 'Another Roadside Attraction,' a book I really, really liked.

I think it would be great if someone made a film from that book, with Kristen playing Amanda, of course.
Now there's a role that I think would be perfect for her.
Oh yeah, she should probably direct the film as well.
That's not too much to ask for, is it? ;-)

That sounds like a fun book, and would make an entertaining movie. I'm looking forward to Kristen directing more, getting into it more, though of course I still want her to remain very active in acting roles.

Good to know a release date for Lizzie. That actually seems pretty quick. We'll see how wide a release it is. If it's a really good part but in a smaller movie then that's good too, since it should be a strong role for her.

Hopefully, we'll get a release date for JT Leroy as well Ron as this could very well be her strongest role in 2018 if this film is released later this year. Christopher James of Awards Circuit had been very high on Kristen ever since he wrote back in January that she deserves Oscar consideration for her performance in "Personal Shopper". James again offers very high praise for Kristen in another Awards Circuit post written a few days ago, this time he gives a very early Oscar prediction regarding how well she could possibly do with her role in "JT Leroy": http://www.awardscircuit.com/2018/03/27/2018-awards-profile-justin-kellys-jt-leroy-with-kristen-stewart-and-laura-dern/

Meanwhile, star Kristen Stewart has been in the hunt for her first Oscar nomination for a while. The actress made a worldwide name for herself as Bella Swan in the “Twilight” franchise. The stigma of heading a young adult franchise has plagued people’s reception of the rest of her career. Her recent work with Olivier Assayas has helped critics take Stewart more seriously. Her role in “Clouds of Sils Maria” won plenty of critics’ prizes, including the French Cesar for Best Supporting Actress. The accolades continued for last year’s “Personal Shopper,” also directed by Assayas. Perhaps this role will earn her the coveted first Oscar nomination.

Well said by writer Chris James. Kristen has been doing some excellent work, and it would seem she should at some point in the past or with her upcoming films, be in some strong consideration.

"This film seems poised to be the breakout for writer/director Justin Kelly. Kelly’s biggest film to date was the James Franco-starring film “I Am Michael,” which opened on Netflix. He also did the gay pornographer crime drama “King Cobra” with Christian Slater and the upcoming mystery “Welcome the Stranger.” There isn’t quite an awards track record for Kelly. This usually points to Adapted Screenplay being the more likely shot at awards glory. However, if the film becomes an indie sensation, there might be a path to picture and director."

I like this, that some feel the film is so well done that it could get such recognition. Also, Kristen seems to like doing films for newer directors and especially for interesting, unique type story lines and roles.
