Regardless, I think KS has a pretty "girl next door" look. I don't think she compares to most supermodels and the like. That is my personal opinion. There are 7.3 billion people in the world. Each one likes something different. Some people like chocolate. Some people like vanilla. Some people don't like ice cream. I can believe that some people would not find her especially attractive.
While I'll agree that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, there are certain physical features which are universally and widely regarded as attractive in a woman such as a fit body, silky smooth skin and proportionate facial and skeletal features. So it would, in my opinion, be more like comparing apples and oranges as opposed to saying some like ice cream while others do not. In my opinion, saying she has that proverbial "girl next door look" is just another way of saying she's average unless of course, that girl next door is herself, a classic beauty.
If Kristen was truly average looking, then why is she one of the faces of the iconic fashion house Chanel? If she was truly average looking, than why was she cast and retained as the lead actress in 5 installments of a $3.3 billion film franchise, The Twilight Saga, co-starring as one of the corners in a love triangle along with two of the hottest teen heartthrobs at the time, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner? Wouldn't it be unrealistic if these supernatural hunks with superhuman strength were fighting over a young woman who was merely average looking? I'm not talking about pre-vampire Bella but vamp Bella in all her immortal glory. Or how about her being cast in
Snow White and the Huntsman where she portrays the fairest of them all? Even as a self-professed fan, even I was a bit surprised that Kristen beat out Lily Collins for the role of Snow as I consider Lily to be one of the prettiest actresses working in Hollywood today. And if Kristen was merely average looking, then why has she been shortlisted to star in the Charlie's Angels reboot?
I'm trying to figure out why you compare Kristen to a supermodel, as I've yet to witness a serious Hollywood A-lister working today who can be compared to a supermodel to the tee. But for argument's sake, why don't we juxtapose Kristen with supermodel Stella Maxwell, who is a Victoria's Secret Angel and face of Max Factor who was voted No. 1 in 2016 Maxim's "Hot 100 List"? The last time she visited Hawaii on New Year's Eve back in 2014, I may have spotted her. At the time she was with another young woman who may have been her friend Alicia. This particular woman who might have been Kristen appeared even fairer in complexion, skinnier and a tad shorter than Kristen appears in her films, which made me raise doubts as to whether it was really her. She was wearing jeans, t-shirt, sneakers, and shades--sure wished whoever it was wasn't wearing dark glasses so I could better make out who she was. From all the footage I've seen of Kristen with regard to how she acts in public, she appears to be very down to earth, especially for a celebrity, which may make it difficult for a casual observer to spot. Additionally, I also initially doubted it was her as I thought to myself, "Why would she be here of all places?", as I didn't even know for a fact that she was vacationing in Honolulu until after the fact--after a poster on IMDb who knows I live here mentioned it specifically in a comment. To this day I still regret not going up to this particular young woman in order to confirm for sure whether or not it was her or perhaps this was simply wishful thinking. Anyhow, I still find it a bit odd that I've never come across this woman again since--unusual since virtually all who pass through the area where I spotted this mystery woman, I've crossed paths with multiple times over that same time period.

While I can't say she's done anything for me on a face-to-face personal level, I do enjoy watching all of her film performances. That's more than I can say about other celebrities. As far as collectively, I believe she's truly making this world a better place when she gets involved in charitable work as well as speaking out on certain important topics. She's also an animal lover, which I consider a big plus:

Right, actors, pro sports players and others similar don't necessarily do anything personal for us but if we enjoy their entertainment, music or the sport they play then they are doing something for us. As for Kristen, I do agree that she seems very much a down to earth person, kind of like the every day person who got into a profession that allows/expects expression, creativity, artistry and continues to grow and do well with it. I like her acting style and especially the types of movies she generally gets into. She's not unique in that but not as many actors have similar career paths and take on similar type work.

Again, I raise the word OBSESSION. Plus the fact that NEARLY EVERY one of your many posts involves Kristen Stewart.
If you ever meet her face to face, please do not kill her, as she seems like a nice young woman.
This might sound like a joke others reading this, but look up Rebecca Schaeffer, Selena Quintanilla and of course John Lennon.

Nah, no danger of any of that. I've known LL for a while, going back to when IMDB had its forums. He's very knowledgeable on movies and actors, not just Kristen though she's one of his favorites as she is one of mine, among other actors. On those forums and here, for many actors not just Kristen Stewart, there were/are many people who knew a lot about an actor and really enjoyed following their work. They weren't a problem, just avid fans. :)

Thanks Ron for those kind and thoughtful words which could very well apply to you too, to an even greater extent. It's almost as if we live in Bizarro world where those who demean others and make snide and cutting remarks are considered normal while those who offer praise to others and defend them in the face of false accusations are to be regarded as insane. How many times have I witnessed posters saying the most hurtful things while the majority either go along with it or ignore it, while conversely trying to bully those who speak in defense of the ones being demeaned.
A few weeks ago I was on a local news forum where the vast majority of posters were making all sorts of hateful remarks directed at homeless individuals, saying stereotypical things like all homeless are lazy, all are drug addicts, all are criminals. The comments ranged from having all homeless be either forced against their will into homeless shelters, thrown into prison, forced off the island or even euthanized. Talk about beating someone when they're down on their luck. From personal experience, I know some homeless individuals who are industrious, hard-working and gainfully employed and law-abiding, disproving the myth that all homeless are lazy and scofflaws. Of course, the root cause for the skyrocketing of homelessness in Hawaii is our increasingly high cost of living coupled with a shortage of well-paying jobs that don't require advanced degrees, as well as a sheer lack of affordable housing. After speaking in defense of the homeless on this particular forum, I'm often called a bleeding heart, even an enabler of homelessness.
On another thread, the discussion was about feral cats and the majority seemed to think there's nothing wrong with killing them all off and criminalizing those who try to care for them. I speak in defense of feral cats by saying the overpopulation has resulted from irresponsible pet owners who have and continue to abandon their pet cats by the thousands as well as their failure to spay or neuter them before releasing them in the wild. But again, they call me a bleeding heart and an enabler. It's almost as if the ones who try to right the wrongs are the cause of the problem.
In my humble opinion, those who seek ill will upon others, especially the ones who can't help themselves, are the ones in need of psychiatric help, as such ones seem to have lost their way, their humanity and may perhaps even be textbook sociopaths. How can wanting and wishing nothing but the best for someone who is deserving be wrong?
