Very beautiful commercial, Kristen looks great. Even though she's been doing these for some years now I'm still always impressed with how she has taken on these fashion campaigns, with how she really enjoys it and gets into it all. A very different side to her from her younger years and she's grown with it so very nicely.

Also, watch the next few videos after the commercial. They are with Kristen getting makeup applied and talking about it.

Interesting that Kristen was chosen to be the campaign face for launching a new perfume which Chanel hasn't done in 15 years. If I'm reading that right.

That being said, I feel I must pose the question: I'm wondering why this video is still unlisted on Youtube? One would think Chanel would strike while the iron is hot and make this video go viral ASAP.

LL, a few days ago, I had read that today, September 1st, would be the official release date of the commercial.

I just checked YouTube, and found that Chanel has posted the commercial (it's dated August 30th), as well as the behind the scenes video (dated yesterday).

Thanks for posting Carved. In only a few days the official Chanel full length commercial has well over half a million views with over 3 thousand likes. Can anyone say with a straight face that Kristen is a has-been and that her 15 minutes of fame is almost over?

Yeah really, lots of views and likes on that ad video! Hopefully she does well for Chanel and she must be having a good effect on Chanel and Balenciaga products as they've had her in several fashion and fragrance campaigns spanning some years now.

Some may give the argument that this video is receiving tons of views because it is after all Chanel, a world renowned company. However, two other official Chanel ads about their same fragrance were uploaded to YouTube just a day later have received just a fraction of the views of Kristen's commercial uploaded 5 days ago which currently stands at 540K views:

"THE FRAGRANCE GABRIELLE CHANEL - THE BOTTLE" uploaded 4 days ago has just 14K views. Perhaps it's because this commercial is devoid of any celebrities/fashion models such as Kristen--the perfume bottle itself being the star attraction. So obviously it's not just about the product or the name brand for that matter, but the face that represents their product.

"THE FRAGRANCE GABRIELLE CHANEL - THE INTERVIEW" also upload 4 days ago has only 4K views. One could reason that those considering purchasing this product would be interested in what the creator of this fragrance has to say--but, judging by the sheer amount of views, apparently viewers are much more fascinated by the face who represents this product, namely Kristen Stewart thank you very much, not necessarily the creator or even the brand itself.

Chanel's marketing department must be well aware of this and see the added value of having Kristen continue as the face of their various product lines as they feel the increasing need to appeal to modern generations to hold onto their share of the luxury market especially after the rise of other high-end brands such as Gucci and Prada.

Since I wrote my last comment about an hour ago Ron, there were 2,000 additional views of this commercial! I wouldn't be surprised at all if this video reaches a million views.

Pretty impressive number of views, it would seem. I think Kristen's strong, sensual style in this ad is a nice draw. I would think she has been good for Chanel with their ad campaigns and she continues to do this kind of work. She enjoys it, says it's another aspect of acting and expression.

I just recently saw this ad on TV, I think on AMC channel. So it's already out and being shown.

I don't watch much television, so thanks for bringing that to my attention Ron. This ad has recently surpassed the 1 million view threshold on YouTube! Sure looks as if Kristen will continue to star in various Chanel short films for quite some time because of the huge interest she draws.

I've seen the commercial a few times now. It's nice and different to see her in a big ad like this on TV. She's been in other ads but I don't think I've seen her in a TV ad before.
