"She [author Chloe Esposito] resolutely refuses to be tempted into picking suitable actresses for the part of Alvie in the forthcoming film, though her eyes do light up a little when I float the name of Kristen Stewart."

Well that article was an interesting read. Thanks for posting it, LL.
It is important however to remember that an author never has a say in the casting of a film based on his or her book. That choice lies with the director and producers.

That being said, one intriguing aspect of making a film based on this book is that the sisters are identical twins.
This then raises the question as to whether both Alvina and Elizabeth should be played by the same actress.

If the answer to that question is yes, then this is a project that I would definitely love to see Kristen get cast in the lead role(s), because I believe that she would be able to pull off playing both Alvie and Beth quite nicely, thank you.

This would be very fun for her, I would think. Playing the different sides of both characters, and from what I've read the twins are quite different in some big ways.

Article points out this is also a very popular book among millennial people, and being sold in many countries and languages. So it's a very popular story which adds to the interest and excitement of the movie, and it should have a large fan base excited to see a movie about a favorite book.

I just ordered this book from Amazon.

It has a release date of June 13th, and apparently, I will be receiving it the same day.

After reading more about the story in Amazon's synopsis of the book, the more I feel that Kristen would be perfect for the part.
I have no doubt that as I read the book, my mind's eye will be envisioning Kristen in the role.

Some of my fave actors have played dual, identical twin film roles such as Christian Bale, Edward Norton, Marion Cotillard, Nicolas Cage and Leonardo DiCaprio, which I enjoyed immensely. So I too would love to see Kristen used in such a capacity.
