Death to All Vampires: The Evolution of K.S.

Just saw an amazing video regarding Kristen's post-Twilight career that was contained within an article with the title shown in my subject line over at Film School Rejects.

This one is definitely must-see viewing ...

That is an amazing video by a film critic who didn't think much of Kristen because of Twilight and what similar pop culture films for the career of any actor/actress. But he's completely changed his mind given all the other work he's seen of hers, especially after Twilight.

He says so much so well, really thoughtful and insightful about her. To paraphrase some aspects, he says her manners of acting are so genuine, human, showing relatability, realism. "Naturalistic acting and how much we've lost in an age where all we praise is obvious."

He mentions Leonardo DiCaprio who probably also wasn't taken seriously as a young actor, but who is definitely considered a serious actor. I agree with that as I've like him more and more as he's gotten older and away from the fluff type roles.

Great video Carved, very good find.

Yes. I think it's great video too. As matter of fact I selected it as one of my videos on Youtube.

What did you guys think of snow white and the huntsmen

I liked Snow White and The Huntsman. It's the movie that made me a fan of Kristen. I actually own it on DVD. I meet plenty of people like myself who prefers Kristen's Snow White over the one played by Lily Collins in Mirror, Mirror- which that film was too goofy for my tastes.

I liked Snow White and the Huntsman pretty well. I don't think it was one of her stronger roles but I liked the take on the movie and liked Hemsworth, Theron and Kristen in it along with the cast of dwarves. Good cast.

I can much better describe how I feel about this film through pictures than I can with words--so here are some of my fave clips of Kristen as Snow from SWATH: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eb7aOK7rWTU

It was darker. Disney went for fantasy and she had the look nailed. I think that if they had polished it up it would be neat perfect.

In my opinion, Kristen always has good screen presence regardless of the quality of the direction and screenplay and like you mentioned, if they had polished it up it would have been even better. For example, the script could have provided much more in terms of passionate love between Snow and Eric the Huntsman and between her and William. There could have also been more witty banter and repartee between Snow and Ravenna, which would have gotten the audience more involved in caring for the main characters. And during the climax of the film when Snow takes on Ravenna, the third act could have been more suspenseful in terms of Ravenna overpowering Snow to the point where she would even beg to die rather than suffer from excruciating pain. Much of the story was predictable and cliched and would have benefited by an ending the audience would least expect.

I like the subplots and wish they were expanded. Like the , baby and humtsmen love story.
