Black Sails XIII. - Emmy Nod PLEASE!

Amen to that. He is wonderful. I did not care for the character at first, because, as they say, of his "aloofness"... Not a very likeable character at first.

Then, towards the end of season 1, Toby completely sold it to me. Those scenes in which he loses his temper with Melinda, the craziness in his eyes when he attacks the Spanish gallion, and when he ends up half dead on the shore... And now this wonderful second season.

I agree, definitely one of the best performances in a series at the moment.

I agree, he deserves all the awards out there, but then again, so does Tatiana Maslany for her incredible work in Orphan Black but she's been consistently ignored by the major awards. What I mean is I'm a bit cynical about these awards being given to the people that really deserve them. So here it is my wish, please, please, please, more exposure for Toby, and more and meatier and more complex roles, so we may see him on our screens more often! :-)

I agree. The sets, scripts and acting are superb with Toby being the top.

Totally agree. BS should definitely get recognised by the Emmys. TS in particular. He is amazing.
