Jewel has joined the third season of "The Killing"! She will be playing a district attorney's assistant. I have never watched that show but I will probably check it just for Jewel. This role sounds definitely interesting (it's a kind of show that I could enjoy anyway) and I'm sure Jewel will make a great contribution.

Loved her first appearance and her comment on Holder's Serenity tattoo. It's awesome how so many alumni from the show get inside jokes in their new roles. Castle has tons of Firefly references.

I watch the show. I also know her too from of course Firefly. It caught me by surprise she was in the show. I think she plays Holder's girlfriend. Her character seems to be more of comic relief role. At least that's what it seems to me in one scene. I'm sure they'll be more serious scenes later on probably.

if you have netflix the killing has the first two season's on it. and OMG I went threw them in a week. easily did like 4 eps a night when I had the chance now I'm just catching up on season 3 and just saw that episode.
