In the ad, Springsteen advocated to meet in the middle after Biden was elected. However, Springsteen, a Democrat calling for unity after a Democrat won, fell flat. Three years later, the country is divided as ever.

Now suppose Trump wins in 2024. Imagine if Springsteen, an out spoken Trump critic, heeded the message in his 2021 ad, and for the benefit of bringing the country together, decided to play at Trump's inauguration. I think that gesture would be profound in the short term of bringing the country together. Any chance something like this could happen?
