I agree with you about Octavia's performance, I loved her in the movie and don't get me wrong, she deserved the Oscar BUT I felt like Jessica Chastain deserved it more. I was watching an ABC special last week and they showed a clip of Octavia in some movie and she was doing the same thing with her eyes (the big bugged eye look) that she did in The Help plus I have watched a lot of her interviews and she just seemed like she was playing herself in The Help but with a Southern accent and a maid uniform. Octavia is a pretty well-known character actress so I am not that bothered by her win because finally her talent is being seen but I do agree with this post.
