Hollywood and their white guilt...

The standing ovation given at the Oscars says it all. Not saying she didnt deserve the Oscar, its just that Hollywood is overly pathetic.

"So melancholy, and the strangest feeling of nostalgia for a place and time that never was."

People posting this repetitive 'it's pc' cry seem to be more pathetic.

Once again, I don't know what show some of you whiners watched, but the one I watched showed about four standing ovations. They stood for only one Black person and some people are shtting their pants?! Is burns you that bad...

What about Plummer? Streep? or "The Artist" winning Best Picture? Of course that doesn't raise issue. Standing ovations are reserved for White's only.
Plummer and Streeps wins could be equated with guilt. From the large gap since Meryl's last win or Plummer finally being awarded after 50+ years in acting.

Or hey, what about those 'Frenchies' taking home the biggest award of the night. Oh god.
