Evan Rachel Wood? I haven't seen any mention anywhere of her being considered for an Oscar.

Well, whatever buzz Wood had has completely fizzled out.

The thing is that I liked "The Help" and I liked Octavia Spencer and thought she was good but I thought everyone in that movie was good. I don't really know why everyone says she's the breakout performance? It's not an insult, every person was really great in it. I just didn't feel like anyone was a breakout in that movie because they were all equal. So I would agree that she will probably get a nom but not win

I can't help but wonder if the original author in this string feels the same way now. Oscar noms just announced....and Spencer has been a big winner so far in the awards season.

Regarding the breakout performance, it's not that she is a breakout performance within this cast, but rather, this role for Spencer has been HER breakout performance, thrusting her into the status of someone who's name is widely known. This cast is a phenominal one and they are all equally good. A true ensemble. I would be awesome if Oscar had an ensemble award, even if it was only a certificate and not a statuette.

Oh, she will win. The Help may not win more than hers. She's a lock. Evan Rachel Wood wasn't nominated for an Oscar...or anything else.
