Trying to figure out who she looks like

Why does it matter? Why can't these actors just look like themself? Every message board has this " looks like" crap. Gets old

She looks exactly like herself. No need to waste any more brain cells on it.

She looks like Michael Jackson after all the surgeries. It's all I see when she's on the screen. LOL

I understand wanting to stay young looking, but I don't understand actresses and actors who start messing with their faces at a young age. I saw an actress the other day who is going to be in some movie and I thought, 'who is that'? When I saw her name, I looked at her every which way and I couldn't recognize her and I'm sure she was just in her 20's. As a fan and someone who wants to enjoy their work, it is pretty disconcerting when I can't recognize them.
