Really?

This very average looking girl who can't act is in movies? Really? Leading lady too? No, she should be the best friend type role at best. Just watching her make the terrible Prom Night even worse with her bad acting. Seriously go to any High school drama club and you will find a dozen better actresses.

Why would someone come to a forum like this just to say hurtful things about someone who has never done a single thing to them, and on top of that, battles daily with several mental/emotional disorders? Don't you have a mother? Didn't she ever teach you the, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" thing? You should look into that; karma's a 5itch,you know.
Your post says a whole lot more about you than about her.

I agree with the OP. She really is a mediocre actress. I can think of a dozen other actresses who would do better in the roles that she's been given.

I agree with the OP and Carrie. Also, "Prom Night" was just not a good idea for a remake. It looks way too low budget, and it was PG13, so no blood, no gore, so what's the use?

I don't get the people who say she's "extremely talented." I have always thought she was would do fine in some basic cable show, but not leading lady movie material.

None of the movies she's done have made a lasting impression other than "Pitch Perfect" and "Hairspray," but musicals become dated quickly.

She's not a terrible actress, but she's not amazing. She did well in "Guiding Light" and "American Dreams," but she was 12-19 when she did those shows. Maybe she tried harder then because she wanted to be in movies, but now is in movies and doesn't care to try hard? (Shrugs).

I think it's the "Pitch Perfect" hype and she has a marketable look that makes people cast her in many things.

Watch 96 Minutes, Call Me Crazy, A Vicious Kind, Would You Rather, and Dial A Prayer.

Judge her talents off of those, not her mainstream movies.

She is definitely more than average looking...
Several people think that her face is amazingly beautiful.

I'm thinking Prom Night was actually made with a whole other title attached to it but then in order to cash in on the name recognition before release they named it Prom Night.

When there's no more room in Hollywood, remakes shall walk the Earth.
