MAGA supporters brutally beat Jussie Smollett

Actor Jussie Smollet, star of the show 'Empire' was brutally attacked outside a Chicago Subway sandwich shop early Monday morning. The two white men beat him up, put his head in a noose, and yelled "This is MAGA country!"

The altercation started when the 36 year old gay black actor - who had just arrived in Chicago from New York - was leaving the sandwich shop around 2 am. Someone yelled out, "Aren't you that f***ot 'Empire' n*****?"

The two white men - wearing ski masks and MAGA hats- approached Smollet and brutally beat him. The actor fought back, but suffered a fractured rib. The two men then put a noose around his neck, poured bleach on him, and then yelled "This is MAGA country!" before leaving him. The actor was taken to Northwestern Memorial where he was treated.

Just eight days ago, an anonymous letter was sent to the actor at FOX Studios in Chicago, with "MAGA" written in the top corner for the return address. The letter says, "You will die black f**." in cut-out letters.

Chicago police are investigating these two incidents as a 'hate crime' and checking the neighborhood for surveillance cameras.

"Given the severity of the allegations, we are taking this investigation very seriously and treating it as a possible hate crime," said Chicago police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi . "Detectives are currently working to gather video, identify potential witnesses and establish an investigative timeline. The victim is fully cooperating."

I totally believed it from the start. Two white men wearing ski masks were wandering around sub-zero downtown Chicago at 2am in the middle of winter, carrying a noose and bleach, they then recognized a D-list gay black actor and started screaming anti-gay and racist threats and insults. And pro-Trump slogans to boot. But they didn't really beat him up. Since the police listed this as a "no injury/minor injury" incident and no treatment from EMS

Those were some really gentle racist gay bashers out that night.

Yeah. Read closely. The persons of interest were two people seen in the general vicinity sitting down on benches about a half an hour before the attack. It's a fishing expedition. They got the entire area on video and nothing of the attack or attackers. Pure hoax.

He's getting a pass from Chicago PD likely under pressure from the city government. They are not forcing him to turn over his phone records or challenging his story, despite the entire area being under surveillance and absolutely no evidence of his attack or attackers. The police outright called him guilty and released their files and they don't do that for no reason.

Oddly enough, the sealed court documents have now been deleted forever! Funny that isn't it?

There's still the FBI investigation into him sending himself hate mail.

The CPD has a very long and disturbing history of doing things which are 'questionable' at best - including this.

But one thing you failed to mention in your laundry list - the Nigerian Brothers have gone radio silent as of March 26, and will not come forward and back up their former claim that Jussie put them up to this hoax. Why aren't they being investigated further since they've already admitted attacking him?
