I used to dislike the character, but he seems to grow on people. He's so bad he's good!

He's my favorite character as well! He plays crazy so well! And he is loyal to the Gods in everything he does!

I think Floki is creepier than sh*t, but that's no doubt a testament to how good of an actor Gustaf is. I don't even like watching Floki's scenes.

its funny seeing him in regular interviews how normal he is. i like all of the Skarsgård actors.

He's my favourite character too, I just giggle everytime he gets a scene. His mannerisms are so funny, he's creepy and crazy but there's also a sense of sweetness to him too. Great actor, I shall be watching more of him in the future.

100% my fav character, which says a lot as Vikings is full of tremendous talent!

Lagertha and Floki are my favorites. Lagertha because she's an absolute badass and Floki because he's so beautifully insane and so intensely loyal. I also think Gustaf is the best actor on the show. No offense to the others, but he just takes it to another level. He's so completely committed to that character. I never feel like he's acting. He's just being. He does a phenomenal job.

I hope he starts to act more in American films and television so I can have easier access to his work! He's a great actor.

The north remembers, and the mummer's farce is almost done.

Describing his character is difficult. I was trying to do that last night. My husband is in California and I've been binge watching Vikings while he's been gone.

On the one hand, he's sweet like a teddy bear. He gets all child like when he talks about trees and boats. Then when it's time for battle, he's the first one out there with only his ax or maybe a small knife. He doesn't even bother with a shield! He is fiercely loyal and will happily kill any traitor. He has no problem telling Earls, Kings, whomever... what he thinks and is never intimidated by anyone. Then, the one thing you don't want, is for him to look at you with wide eyes, while dropping his head and grinning. That is the sign that you're about to meet your maker.

He's cute, he's funny, he's scary and he's downright nutso. To portray a character like that takes a talent few have. He is a much better actor than his father and I truly hope his career flourishes and doesn't get hindered by his height.

Oh and if you like this show, I highly recommend Rome (2005). Titus Pullo is a similar character in a way. He doesn't have that creepy look and isn't crazy, but is more like a puppy. However, don't *uck with him because you'll die a quick, and probably very painful, death. He's also very tall and unfortunately, Ray Stevenson's career stagnated due to height issues (IMDb's height for him is wrong, it was changed when he had trouble getting parts; originally it was 6'5"), and he's only slightly shorter than Gustaf.

Rome (2005) is available for free if you're an Amazon Prime member. If you watch, you just have to let me know what you think... or anyone reading this!
