has he ever had a leading role?

I like him a great deal as well. I feel that his voice, is perfect for an actor that can play many different parts. Some people are just born with the perfect voice, whether it be for radio, television and/or film.

Don't get me wrong. He is a terrific actor. I loved him in Juno. He played the part of the father so well, it was truly amazing.

I'd consider his part in Whiplash a pretty leading role.
