All his movies start great, but end up with unsatisfying endings

First off, I watched all his movies. Hat's off to him for writing, directing and producing his movies. Also his movies always have a great original story, unfortunately it seems over the years, he is really struggling with finding a satisfying ending to his movies.

When the 6th Sense came out, I was an immediate fan of M. Night. I loved the entire movie from start to finish, including the ending. Probably one of the best movie endings in movie history.

Shortly after, he made Unbreakable, which was not too bad. Great story, but okay ending.

Same with Signs. Interesting story, it really kept me awake the entire time, but then the ending was so so.

This pattern of his movies then continued with The Village, Lady in the water, the happening. All great stories. they all build up so much suspense and mystery, but in the end, I often feel totally disappointed

Just now I watched the visit. I started the movie with low expectations, knowing that the ending might leave me feel very unsatisfied... and yeah, unfortunately very unsatisfied.

I think I might have been spoiled by JJ Abarms and Christopher Nolan for delivering stories that have a very satisfying ending.

I really wish M Night would be able to write something as good as 6th sense, where the ending is satisfying.
