Set the record straight.

First off, I don't necessarily condone what he said. It's certainly not in an actors best interest to divide their fan base. Even though I was amused by what he said, I can understand why people aren't happy with him, but we need to set a few facts straight on what he actually said.

He didn't threaten anyone. In order for it to be a threat, there has to be derived intent. He's not going to go out and kill all the people who voted for Trump, what he said exactly was, "There’s a lot of old people who need to realize they’ve had a nice life, and it’s time for them to move on, because they’re the ones who go out and vote for these *beep* "But if you’re voting for Trump, it’s time for the urn.” People keep spinning this as a threat, but its similar to something that I've heard plenty of times but never once was it ever considered a threat. The idea that the baby boomers need to start dying before progressives will start getting their way. It's a grim perspective, but a true one.

So feel free to boycott all you want, you certainly have the right to. But enough with this thing about a threat. If it were really a threat, he would have been arrested for it.

Take your flunky and dangle.

You mean the baby boomers who were the hippes and liberals of the 60s? Shannon did threaten people actually. He specifically said it is time for people to die who didn't vote his way. He is an *beep* with no real fan base other than people like you. Hollywood itself is about to die out itself. An increasing number of people are tired of their *beep* and there are other avenues of entertainment these days that just the theater screens.

He got away with it because he is Hollywood. Look at Madonna who said she has had thoughts of blowing up the White House. Or Sarah Silverman who called for a military coup. These Hollywood stars get away with things us regular folks can't and we have had enough. We are fighting back.

It's called brainwashing. It only works on very stupid people, some of whom might now think Shannon has made death threats. Yes, there really are people out there that stupid. Enough to put a man in the Whitehouse.

If to stand pat means to resist evil then, yes, neighbour, we wish to stand pat.

reply

He did make death threats. He's an idiot and an a s shole...like you. Don't talk to me about stupidity when you voted for Barack Obama twice.

reply

You aid my argument greatly, sir, but I have no further use for you. Goodbye.

reply

Well it could be interpreted as a threat. The fact remains it shows how demented he is.
