Re-record your lines, it sounded way too *beep* cheesy in the teaser. This is Star Wars, not The Avengers. You can't wink at the audience like that if you're the villain in a true Star Wars film, Alec Guinness would be ashamed of that voice-over.

He's doing what he feels is best for the scene, but JJ Abrams is the one saying that it's correct. If you feel the direction of the scene is wrong, then be upset with THE DIRECTOR not the actor he hired.

This isn't the facking Godfather. I mean, I'm no fan of Star Wars, but did you see Man McDiarmid's performance? It makes Serkis look positively subtle. This is a space fantasy, not a serious drama.
