Pvt. John 'cowboy' Hall, from BOB scene

I still wished he's not getting killed on his first appearance . Andrew scott performance as John 'cowboy' Hall from Able company in Day of Days episode certainly got strong character to remember. on the first jump in a forrest at Normandy, his conversation in a shaky and nervous voice with Lt. Winters still get me laughing at, when he said: "yes, sir, Thunder sir" and about losing his radio on the jump.

so great performance in short of moment, i like his attitude for his argument over Guarnere's manner which against Winters command, but then he didn't want to get more argued about that by telling his own name, just to get a nick as 'cowboy' since then.

And another great expression of Pvt. Hall, when Joe Toye and Guarnere questioning his attached with them, when he choosed to stay followed Winters for a battle instead of looking for his own company , so impressing me out. his struggled and disciplined manner being a soldier, still caught my attention for this scene of him, he's so accountable kind of troop, he has that TNT when Winters needed it urgently . i'm get shocked when the first time seeing his blown-up scene, felt so lost for his death there. And by seeing Winters sadness for loosing him when Nixon asked what he's thinking about, it all so emotionally touched me for Pvt. Hall appearance in this episode, i found the story is more about Pvt. John Hall and Easy wins the first battle by Winters leading.

well, there's to my view for his appearance in BOB then. Maybe cos' of his little part, only few people may followed his character. but i still so impressed by his performance there.

I totally agree. Andrew Scott puts in a wonderful performance as Pvt. John D. Hall. He looks so lost without his Company, but proves so tough in battle. Wonderful, unforgettable character in "Day of Days". I'm glad Band of Brothers highlighted the contribution of Hall and chose a fine actor to portray him.

I loved Hall telling Gonorrhea to shut his guinea trap. That was awesome.

I was watching 'John Adams' and wondering where I'd seen Col. Smith (John Adams' son-in-law) before. Nice to see a familiar face from BoB and yes, he is still adorable.

You can see a little bit of his performance around the 7 min mark of this clip where Winters aka Damian Lewis parachutes down on D-Day: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzRiiM9dThA I didn't realize that was him until I looked back over IMDb. I knew he looked familiar.
