Hello John got a new motor?
I used to love The Alexei Sayle show and his cameos in The Young Ones.
I always found him to be a bastard but I think that's what he was going for at the time.

Ah well Alexei deserves a bump anyway!
Not enough Brit stuff gets noticed unless they're also Hollywood.
I get him now, just at the time he seemed like a right artful dodger and then all that Amnesty International stuff started up too.
I don't think the humour translated into Glasgow at the time.
