Why all the butthurt?

I don't get the butthurt. It's obvious looking at her that she's black, does she have to say it every time? Why is she seemingly always questioned about it? Reading her name only and not knowing what she looked like, my first remark would be this person is Hispanic/Latin.

Who'd read that name and say she's black? Maybe she got asked a lot why she has that name when she's a black person and she's had to say because she has Latin heritage or whatever.

But leave her alone, she hasn't hurt anyone, she doesn't even know any of us. She's just living her life.

And btw, I'm not a fan of hers because I don't think she can act, and I find her facial expressions cringe worthy, especially during emotional scenes. But in any case, just represent yourself and make sure that you know who you are.

This is a discussion forum, not a fan forum.

She's a good actress---if you think she isn't, I don't know what you would consider good acting,then.

I agree with you about her heritage situation, so many people are so butthurt about her heritage, seriously, there's just so much of this unnecessary debate about whether she's black or latina. She has already confirmed numerous times that she has BOTH black and latina heritage, she is a black Latina, how many times does she have to say it for people to understand? Seriously, it's annoying some of her fans, and I think Zoe herself probably finds it annoying too that so many people are making such a big fuss about her heritage.

While on the other hand, I disagree with you about Zoe's acting, I think she's a decent actress, I don't think she's one of the "best" actors I've seen, but I certainly don't think she's "bad" either, she's a decent actress. I have seen some actors who are much worse than her frankly.

She is stunning. I think she is good actress.

hispanic isn't a race, dude. white or black people can be hispanic/latino. she is black with a fake/real spanish accent

i've got feelings too, ya know - inbetweeners

Decent acting? Please, she's only hired because they needed a light skin black person from DR who is too stupid to understand that she's hispanic. When people are ask what nationality or ethnic background they are, they're being asked what their subculture really is. But she's too of a self righteous feminist to answer it properly. If you ask someone from Jamaica, they would say they are Jamaican, that's their culture. I have a friend from the DR, he doesn't say he's black, he consider himself hispanic.

Uh, she's black AND Hispanic, and has already said that she is, more than once. She knows exactly who she is, so why do you even have a problem with it? Black Hispanic people have been in the Caribbean for 500 years,in case you didn't know. Your little stupid rant dosen't make any damn sense anyway. And what does her being a feminist have to do with anything? Also, she is NOT anywhere near being light-skinned---I don't know why anybody keeps saying that---she's just as dark-skinned as I am. And,yes, she's a good actress on top of that. Hate on her all you want, she's still be making big box-office films while you whine and moan about her being married to a white boy (yawn.)
