I just watched her in Swimming Pool and think she's fantastic.

water drops on burning rocks is a fantastic film, it's very odd! but strangely enchanting you should rent that, you won't regret it

"Water Drops..." is a pretty good movie. Even my wife wasn't put off and she normally loses interest in unconventional movies pretty easily.
The downside is there's no Ludivine Sagnier until about the movie is nearly 2/3s over. The saving grace is that she's nude or nearly nude about the whole time.
But even without her the film is pretty good. For some reason it reminds me of what would happen if Woody Allen and Gus Van Sant collaborated on a script.
I personally feel her best performance is as Tinkerbell in Peter Pan, but if you want a film where she is more of a major character, check out Swimming Pool.
From what I've seen of her, Swimming Pool is her best work by a long shot.
Check out the Mesrine films if you can. It's her latest work. She co-stars with Vincent Cassel. In the first Mesrine, L'instinct de Mort, she only appears in the opening scene. In the second Mesrine, L'Ennemi Public Nº1, she has a leading role, appearing throughout the film, delivering a good performance, as usual.
