Farinelli and the King to be a movie?

I hadn't read anything about it before, but the programme of Mark's latest West End show, "Nice Fish", stated that his wife Claire van Kampen is currently writing the screenplay for a film version of her play "Farinelli and the King", which he did twice in 2015.

The playbill site states the same thing:

These are great news! It's one of his greatest roles. Best Actor Oscar this time?
