What Is Routh Doing Taking Up Lesser Roles Letting Shortie Be Superman??

Brandon Routh has the looks and the height to be Superman. He is the perfect guy for the role since the late Christopher Reeve but the previous director didn't do too well.

Now the role is not only given to an unknown boy-next-door Henry Cavill, but the guy does not have the looks and is too short to portray Superman~! Hollywood is going to ruin it further with the cast selection as the Superman franchise is going down the drain, plummeting into a deep ravine filled with rotten tomatoes and maggot-filled pies.

It is unfortunate the career of Brandon Routh isn't going anywhere after he enjoyed a short fame when being cast as the lead in Superman Returns. Looks more like a downhill to me especially with the recent movies he got into, Dylan Dog.

*sigh*

Agreed! Cavill is fugly compared to Brandon Routh. *runs away from angry fans*

Henry Cavill is 6'1", that's not exactly short. He's also shown himself to be a fine actor who just happens to have a strong jaw line, something Routh has yet to truly prove.

I liked Routh in Superman Returns and hope he has a successful career. But I understand why WB needed to fully divorce themselves from what came before. And as good as Brandon Routh was in the film, I don't think he was just SO good that they just had to have him back for Man of Steel. I personally am pretty excited about Cavill and MOS. And for what it's worth, I think Cavill looks far brawnier and more masculine than Routh.

The movie sucked bigtime ass

Brandon was forgettable, he's no Heath Ledger in his role as the Joker

So he was replaced, no biggie

A block of wood can emote more than Routh, while Cavill is an actor.

That's why one is Superman, while the other is Dylan Dog.

Cavill is much better, more masculine and not as clean cut
