Whatever happened to, "say it loud, I'm Black and I'm proud." Her generic description seems to be getting more and more popular these days. Not too much proud anymore I guess?

share"People of color" covers black, brown, negro, latino, blah, blah. What they are really saying is "non-white", but saying "non-white" would be "racist".... oooohhhhhh...
sharePeople of color is a more inclusive term. Diversity onscreen and behind the camera doesn't only mean employing more black people or telling their stories but giving a voice to other minorities that aren't well represented - Latinos, Asian, LGBTQ, Native American, Arabs, Africans, and so on.
