I remember seeing a breif moment of an episode where they were convicting someone who killed someone who I think was and old ADA. Was the the one, or did something different happen?

I think she was so outspoken about what she believed it went against what the whole office believed and as a result they had to fire her since her opinions were not that of the D.A.'s office.
