Another Brit? Yaaay!!!

God knows I loves me some English, Welsh, Scottish, Irish..whatever the hell else part of the Island I missed. I was so glad when I found out that Roache was gonna be on L&O. British guys are hot, very talented(and most, but not all) can put on an impressive American accent. Roache is gorgeous and I am so lucky I get to see him on my tv screen every Wednesday evening. So to Hollywood, from this American girl, I thank thee for giving the gorgeous guys across the pond employment, so that I can enjoy them on my television screen. Just wish more of them would use their sexy accents when playing roles over here...but I'm not complaining.

Dominic West-hot
Damian Lewis-hot
Idis Elba-hot
Henry Ian Cusick-hot
Christian Bale-hot
Lennie James-hot
and the list goes on....

Aussies? sorry not my cup of tea too harsh

Perfer English-South African or Danish accents to Oz or Kiwi. Irish brogues not bad either.

LOL, bookwormgal, no biggie. you like what you like.

Well, when it comes to Aussies and Kiwi's the imports that come to Hollywood usually has blonde/light brown hair and light eyes, but there accents are so cool. I too prefer English, Irish, Scotts, and Welsh(especially Welsh) because of the dark features. On US television and movies, the stereotypical Irish fearture has always been red hair and green/blue eyes, but thats not the majority. The features that I have seen from them is usually raven dark hair and gorgeous green/blue/brown eyes. Same thing with Welsh as well. But I could be totally wrong. I have always been a sucker for tall dark and handsome.

I know that Ireland is not part of Britain. I know there is Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland as well. If you had read my original post, I didn't include Ireland or the Irish. Someone else brought up Ireland and I mentioned how I like them as well and the conversation turned to that. Thanks.

You must have changed the post before I'd seen the thread. I wasn't being very serious anyway....hence the smilie. I'm Irish and am well used to people lumping us in with the Brits!
