Did you like his role on Seinfeld?

Did you like his role on Seinfeld? Are there any comparable characters?

reply

Of course we did. Silly question. He's Kramer!

reply

When I saw him on Trending, I felt bad the only comments were about his massive mis-step.
He reminds me of the Professor from Back To The Future. That's about the only comparable character I could think of.
Kramer was quite daft, so I like to think of MR in a good light.

reply

so funny. i think there was a show austin stories with a similar character

reply

Richards was brilliant as Kramer. He created a unique character, one of the greatest in tv history.

reply

Agreed!

reply

His schtick grew tired more quickly than the others but it was good while it lasted.

reply

He was quite the character on the show, sort of surprised he won more Emmy's than Jason Alexander did, but whatever

I loved him on "Seinfeld" and I think he's a great example of how the things that made him so great as an actor/comedian also made him a flawed person (if that makes any sense). I've seen clips of "Seinfeld bloopers" and he seemed very much to be a "method actor," staying in character constantly. But "Seinfeld" wouldn't have been nearly as great a show without him.
