He called me a BlTCH!

I asked him about Sliders at a ComicCon panel, apparently he wasn't very happy there unfortunately. Its still one of my favorite shows, I wish they'd bring it back with better writers.

They fired him, then maniacally killed his character in horrific fashion as a final F.U. towards him. Why would he be happy about talking about it? I know, as a fan, it's not our fault, and usually actors are more magnanimous about it towards the fans, but everyone has anger buttons and maybe he was having a bad day? Or, also, just because someone is good at one job, in this case pretending to be something else as an actor, doesn't mean they are good at interacting with real people? Idk. I know me personally, when I try to talk or joke with people, unless they know me well, I come off as rude, or a babble monster, sometimes both simultaneously.

I met him on the weekend, very professional nice charming man, I picked out the sliders picture and he said in might delight "Ah the great Professor Arturo" we talked about Sliders briefly and yeah he said the writing went really badly and you could tell there was still some resentment about it which sucks as you can tell he liked the character and what he put into it.

Yeah i didnt take it personally or anything, I just didn't know that's how things ended with him and the show. He even said that it could've been one of the greatest shows on TV still today if the writers were more imaginative, which I totally agree with.
