IMDB closing down message boards
Nooooo!
I'll miss all you regulars. :(
Where else will be able to discuss all things Renner?
I haven't been on this specific page for a while, but I always read it in my spare time.

So this is legit, right?
It's really happening?!
This sucks!
In my opinion.
Yes, it's legit!
I'm seriously unhappy about this.
So many of us complained on their Facebook page and they deleted the entire thread.
Just goes to show they don't care about their users anymore.
We won't have a proper platform after this to discuss things all film anymore.
Urgh.
*cough
Trump?
* cough
The excuse is traffic compared to their social media pages.
It's true that some of the volume on boards go up and down and many are not routinely visited. But, many of the boards have become full of bile and it would appear that IMDB doesn't have the resources or resolve to address it. The Hidden Figures board is a recent example of many comments removed by IMDB after complaints and I Am Your Negro is headed the same direction. I suspect if it weren't turbulent times they would have continued.
Such a shame because I find IMDB a great place to exchange thoughts on films and to get to know people who also are engaged. Too bad.
It's always a few unpleasant types who have to ruin things for everyone else.
"We're fighting an army of robots... and I have a bow and arrow."
What!?!?!
What a weird decision. Social media is not the same as these boards...
😭
"We're fighting an army of robots... and I have a bow and arrow."
Exactly right!!
This is the most stupidest thing I've seen all year so far.
They've dug their own grave now and lost so many members.
