Ruined Apes for me.

-> The 3d seemed retrofitted, awful unhelpful in building to the plot
-> The apes keep respawning like they're some sort of an army of bats
-> Weak weak human protagonist. I wanted him and his family dead first thing first
-> Not one scene in the film except the one where the ape drinks was near great

Put me off the franchise entirely.
I was a fan of this man, I loved Cloverfield but this? Everything was ruinous. Long 5-7 minute gaps made this a snooze fest.
