Dana Preu: Dana Preu. Actor: Something Wild. Dana Preu was an English professor at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and recently widowed when she was introduced to director Victor Nunez. Nunez was casting for his upcoming film, and invited Preu (who had never acted) to audition. She suspended her budding acting career in 1987 to care for her aging mother.
